Sexual lifestyle when viewed amicably demands an encouraged and deferential accession to sexual relationship and sexuality plus the potential possibility of safe and enjoyable sexual experiences free from regrets, violence and humiliation. Precautionary/safety measures are to be considered when engaging in sexual activities to avoid Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD) and eventually have a healthy sex life. In my content today, I will discussing on the contest theme "Healthy Sex Life" organized and published by @dexsyluz. Let's begin.

Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD)

Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD) are infection transmitted through sexual contact caused by viruses, parasites and bacterias. Some of them include syphilis, gonorrhea, Chlamydia, trichomoniasis, HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis B, Herpes simplex virus (HSV) and human papillomavirus (HPV). Among the listed infections, the first four are curable while the rest are incurable infections.

We can prevent STIs and STDs by:

1. Abstinence from sex or sexual activities. The best way to avoid it is to stay away from sex.2. Reduce Number of sex partners. Have only one sec partner who is likely to be your life partner/spouse.
2. Make use of protection(condoms) necessarily when you feel the need to engage in sex.
3. Vaccination: vaccination are effective and recommended ways to avoid hepatitis B and HPV.

Transmission of STDs

The transmission medium for STDs is sexual contact. Sexual contact which can be oral, anal or vaginal..

Conclusion

In my own conclusion, sexually transmitted infections are mostly common when unsafe and unprotected sex is practiced. Therefore it is one's responsibility to ensure well protected sex activities such as the use of condoms.
