Private health care system are health care that are founded and run by people other than the government. They are privately managed by companies and business men.
The public health care system is one that is funded, owned and managed by the government so that all people could avail health facilities at a low cost

WHICH HEALTH CARE SYSTEM IS MORE LIKELY TO PROVIDE ACCESS FOR EVERYONE IN A SOCIETY

It has been known that public health care system is more likely to provide access to health care to everyone due to the low cost. Due to easy accessibility and low in public health care system people are more opportune to visit the doctor leading to a preventive measures as well as early diagnosis of diseases thereby saving a lot of lives. Also people who cannot afford health care insurance also have the hope of being treated in public health care system

We could all agree that the environment of public health care are not as good as private health care. Although people would prefer using public system instead of private health care because of it's affordability and it is cheap , since it is paid by the government it is not actually free but you spend less in public health care system.

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE THE ROLE OF GOVERNMENT IN A PUBLIC HEALTH CARE SYSTEM AS COMPARED TO PRIVATE HEALTH CARE SYSTEM

Government has a big responsibility in public health care system. Government responsibility is to protect and advance the interest of the society. Because the private health care can't ensure all Nigerians access to health care because of it's high cost, so the government must provide a system free from unfairness, partiality and is affordable so that the ultimate goal of achieving high quality of care will prevail in the society.

IN YOUR OPINION, WHICH HEALTH CARE SYSTEM IS MORE AFFORDABLE FOR INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES

Like I mention earlier, the public health care system is a more cheaper and affordable means of health care. This is because of it's partnership with the government. The government is the sole owner and founder of it and so takes care of the facilities, provide good health care environment and also ensures that cost is reduced.

HOW DOES THE QUALITY Of HEALTH CARE IN A PUBLIC SYSTEM COMPARED TO THAT IN A PRIVATE SYSTEM

In my understanding, private health care has a more effective and quality health system compared to public health care system. In Nigeria many private health centers are in competition with one another and as such patients receive fast and high quality treatment as private facilities competes with other facilities. This characteristics of private health care has been proven to make it convenient
For patients and also life saving.

Private health care system has a large list of specialist and doctor, so that the patient has the choice of choosing who they want to go for treatment unlike the public health care system where they just call anyone to treat you without the knowledge of the illness.

CONCLUSION

In conclusion, health facilities are very important in our lives. Public and private health care system are both essential in the society as those who cannot afford the private health care can go for the public health care depending on their needs and affordability.
