Its immensely pleasure for me while taking part in the 4th week of engagement challenge, I always appreciate the topic SEC-S13/W4| "The Role of the Caregiver ♥️ " no doubt there is significant and positive role of caregiver in our society.
👩⚕️ Have you played the role of caregiver or do you know someone who has put it into practice? Tell us about it.
Yeah, i have played the rike of caregiver recently when my father-in-law was ill and there was heart surgery done and if course a lot of care was needed. So i accepted the to take care because i know it was not easy for old person nor my husband all the time can pay attention to his father.
I knew i managed it hardly but to give medication on time, making food 4 to 5 times juices, moreover take care of hygiene all were required and i was doing it very nicely. I think being patient they needed care and if I can help him nicely it would be great deed from my side.
👩⚕️ Do you think that caring for a sick person should be a team effort or the work of a single person?
Well no doubt its a team effort and done in sequence so that i can performed very nicely. But my point of view is little bit variable i thought when a task is divided to many individuals it can never be done nicely.
Like i asked my sister-in-law to give medicine on time and she was about to late every time, similarly I knew what a patient should eat in surgery and how much salt or peppers are required.
So in ny opinion sometimes individual efforts are more required as compared to team work.
👩⚕️ What qualities do you think a caregiver should have?
I guess few qualities must be present when we are caregiver.
Patience Its indeed required to give care because when a person is patient he is little childish.
Responsibility we must responsible for the care to others because its the key element to give help.
Punctual nature if we have punctual definitely we can pay good care to the patient.
👩⚕️ What advice would you give to a person who is performing this role?
I would advice only be patient while taking the care of others because they are in painnoe in conditions of help otherwise no one wanted to lay down to get help from others.
Do the care as we wish others can done for us because its the only way we may give comfortable to others.
Its a temporary time and will passed soon the caregiver should be politw with patients because our good behavior matters alot.

At one point in life each and everyone of Us may have taken up the responsibility to become a caregiver to either your friends or close relatives like our father or mother or siblings. Taking care of our family has been a major way of showing care when they are ill. Whenever a surgery is performed on a person due to a certain health condition the body obviously becomes weak and needy urgent care and attention to amplifying the healing process. Talking about your father-in-law who was ill from a health condition and a surgery was carried out on him , taking up the responsibility of being a caregiver to him was a good task.
Whenever care is being administered to a person singlehandedly the caregiver maybe affected also, but when the job is elaborated into team work, it becomes easy.
A sense of responsibility is one quality that is needed Ina caregiver. It means giving the a sense of been responsible for the care that person. Other important qualities are needed which includes patience, love as well as a punctual nature.

Sin duda la paciencia debe ser la cualidad aquel más resalte al momento de cuidar a un enfermo porque puede que sientan tanta impotencia por no poderse valer por si mismos que lleguen a sentirse una carga para otros.
Lo que hace que se sientan enojados y descarguen sobre su cuidador esa frustración.
Cuidar a tu suegro no debí ser fácil después de esa operación sin embargo pusiste en práctica tus propias recomendaciones ser responsable y puntual, gracias a eso se pudo recuperar muy bien.
