Steemit Engagement Challenge / S11W2 - “The worst enemy, Sugar

I am glad to be here to take part in "Steemit Engagement Challenge / S11W2 - "The worst enemy, Sugar."

As you said, most people did not inherit it intentionally, I agree up to this point, but the fact remains that people who suffer from diabetes inherit it from their ancestors. The chances of suffering from this dreaded disease are comparably higher in people whose forefathers did suffer from diabetes. And yes, our lifestyle is pushing us towards diabetes, which is another reason. The dependency on insulin is increasing at a rapid rate.

👩⚕️ Do you know how much sugar you consume per day?

I consume sugar like everyone else who has no problems eating sugar. In fact, almost everyone consumes sugar in some form or another. I can roughly say that consuming 6 teaspoons of sugar daily is not harmful. But eating more sweets can increase the risk of diseases like obesity, heart disease, increased cholesterol levels, etc. Sugar actually eats up our bodies, but we understand it when it is too late.

Sugar is such a food present on earth, without which food cannot be imagined. Sugar is used in thousands of food items. I guess everyone consumes sugar if he is not suffering from diabetes but excessive consumption of sugar is linked to many health problems.

Experts believe that there is no harm in taking sugar in small amounts, but excessive consumption can cause many diseases in the body. I am not a medical expert, but as a common person, I can tell you how much sugar we should be eating daily. Nothing is bad in moderation unless you have a serious problem.

I think consuming six to eight tsf in a day is not that harmful provided you have no diabetic symptoms but eating more than this, can harm you. Eating too much sugar can lead to obesity, heart disease, increased cholesterol levels, Alzheimer's disease, etc. There are some signs and symptoms that may indicate that you are consuming too much sugar, and you should be alert now.

👩⚕️ Do you have a family member who has problems with diabetes?

My mother used to suffer from diabetes, and she often had muscle and joint pain. She did not eat much sugar, but it was an inherited problem. She always has pain in muscles and joints, it was increasing constantly in her body, which also led to arthritis, heart disease, and finally a slight memory loss.

Sugar kept her energy levels low, so she ate almost no sugar or did so in moderation according to her body's needs. She never had Foods that contained added sugar, as it increased her insulin levels and initiated the process of glycation. It's common knowledge that when glucose enters our blood, it can cause inflammation and skin diseases. This insulin can increase the activity of oil glands in the skin and activate inflammatory processes.

A few common problems she faced were, her immune system was weak. Doctors prescribed her Vitamin C, which her body needed to fight the flu, which occurred to her on a regular basis.

Please note that this article is based on general information only, and I am not giving it as an expert in any way. Always consult your doctor for more details.

👩⚕️ Have you had a problem with sugar?

My answer is no. I know that any diet plan that reduces the amount of added sugar can benefit overall health. First of all, it can be beneficial for controlling my sugar level. Sugary food drinks or syrups get rapidly absorbed and increase the sugar level. By reducing these items, we can experience a significant improvement in our sugar level, which helps prevent complications due to sugar consumption.

However, keeping away from carbohydrate foods and sugar can put you at risk of low-sugar problems. There can be problems with dizziness, confusion, or even fainting. Since carbohydrates, or sugar, increase glucose in the body, abstaining from both can make you weak.

Among the things that cause the most damage to our bodies, excessive consumption of sugar is the main one. If you consume a lot of sugary foods, it can increase both your weight and your blood sugar. Even if your sugar remains under control, it should still be consumed in moderation. People suffering from diabetes should not consume sugar at all.

Natural sugars in vegetables, fruits, and dairy products are less harmful, so I eat them minus foods with added sugar and sweetened drinks.

👩⚕️ What do you think about sugar as the worst enemy?

Eating too much sugar can make you gain weight if you read Healthy Relationship Information. Sugar expedites the process of gaining weight in your body, which is a sure sign of inviting trouble. You can never expect that the food you eat, like chocolate or cake, can harm you in such a bad way.

Sugary foods promote cavities and tooth decay. However, it is not the sugar that rots your teeth, but the food debris left on the teeth after eating. If not brushed properly, food debris causes plaque to build up on your teeth. This destroys the hard surface of the tooth, leaving cavities or tooth decay.

Hello! sugar is the enemy when we consume it in excess, since everything in exaggerated amounts is bad. It is true that sugar has always been in food and it is impossible to imagine it without that characteristic sweet touch. Greetings and success.

First and foremost, I thank you for inviting me, but I have already posted my entry there.
As you mentioned, too much sugar causes not only diabetes but also heart disease. Sugar is more harmful to the heart than fat.
Good luck with the contest.
