CREATING AWARENESS ON HEMORRHOIDS

Good day everyone on this wonderful community, I hopes that you all had a great day.

It my pleasure to be with you all and also participate in a contest organized by @mesola title the Awareness On Hemorrhoids which is a very interesting topic to express my thoughts of it.

What do you understand by the word hermorrhoids

From my own understanding and research about hermorrhoids. Hermorrhoids are swollen vain in the lower part of our body such as anus and rectum.

They are two types, the internal and external Hemorrhoids.
The internal hemorrhoids are develop inside the rectum and they are usually painless, they always cause bleeding during bowel movement.

The external hemorrhoids are develop on the skin of your anus which is usually painful and itchy. They cause discomfort and bleeding during bowl movement too.

Mention the main causes of hemorrhoids?

The are many cause of hemorrhoids which includes

• pregnant and childbirth
• lack of fibre in diet
• aging
• obesity
• genetics
• heavy lifting
• Sitting for long periods of time
• Chronic constipation or diarrhea

And many more. They are the things that causes hemorrhoids on our body so it is important to maintain healthy lifestyle.

can Hemorrhoids be treated? Mention the ways and methods of treatment

Yes it is because the is no sickness that cannot be treated, so hemorrhoids can be treated through many methods depending on the condition of it. So simple treatment include:

• over-the-counter treatment:- they are many oil, pads, ointment, and suppositories available to help relieve symptoms such as pain, swelling and itching.

• sitz bath: this include soaking in warm water for like 15- 20 minutes several times a day help to reduce the swelling and discomfort associated to hemorrhoids.

• prescription medications: in some point you need to see your healthcare provider so that they many prescribe medications such as
  corticosteroid creams or suppositories to reduce pains and inflammations.

• procedures: like rubber band ligation,scerotherapy(chemical solution).

Does anyone in your family has this disease, if yes share your experiences.

Up till now, I have not seen any of my family members or distance related have such disease due it may be through genetics or the activities been carry out by the person.
