Hello friends and I greatly invite you all to my amazing blog! I would be sharing my thoughts on this amazing contest as organised by @oneray for such an interesting contest.

"What is Sugar and What are its Main Types"

Sugar is a basic necessity in the body, it's glucose which is required for metabolic processes to occur perfectly in the body. It's a need in every human being replenishing every tissue in the body. It is also needed for the process of respiration,cognitive function, exercise and a while lot of other metabolic activities required for it's sporadic function without altercation.

There are types of sugar too from the best of my knowledge, there are monosaccharide, dissaccharide, trisaccharide sugar, all having various function. The three types of sugar comes respectively as simple compound and complex sugar respectively. The higher the sugar component the tougher it is to dissolve in the body.

"What are the effects of excessive sugar consumption on health?"

Excess sugar consumption is really a big problem, it has various negative effects to the body, I would be sharing some of them with us.

SEXUAL EFFECT:
It has been noticed by various health experts that lots of sugar intake reduces the sexual drive in male. It has a sporadic effect. It reduces the ability to perform in bed in young men and could be a cause of lot reproductive problems in most relationships. This is a clearly and well stated fact. Leave those bottle of beer and take yoghurts!

DIABETIC TENDENCIES:
Lots of sugar in the body leads to high cases of diabetics. Diabetics is a rising health disease that destroys the body of most especially aging adults. Therefore, it's quite expedient to reduce intake or sugar once you are above 30 to avoid diabetic tendencies which could cost loss of lives.

"What are some healthy alternative to refined sugar?"

There are healthy alternatives to these deadly refined sugar. It has a big role to play in deterioration of the body functions therefore these are my thoughts.

  • HONEY: The honey is a beautiful alternative which is advisable for young people and old alike. You can use honey for that tea or coffee instead of lumps of refined sugar. It is perfect for the health

  • SUGARCANE: Are you in need of sugar snacks? You can leave the candy store for a while and enjoy sugar cane. This can be perfect fo you. With the aid of sugar cane you can take natural sugar syrup! This is good alternative, you can take it without being scared too.

"Is it necessary to consume some sugar? Explain your reason?"

Sugar plays a huge role in metabolic activities of the body. Sugar us required for the brain in it's cognitive function. Without sugar, you could break down during lot of mental activities. It cushions the cerebrum and aids the brain.

Moreso, are you into sports? You need glucose for the metabolic activities of respiration, perspiration and replenishing work out energy. Sugar is the remedy. Some sportsmen take sugar during exercise when worn out. It gives sporadic energy.

Finally, too much of everything is never good take all these in moderation to avoid bad effect such as diabetics amidst other health hazards as a result of high intake of sugar. I invite @paholags @sahmie @sualeha to share their thoughts on these discuss too in this contest

To suddenly stop consuming sugar is not so good, it is said that our body needs everything, but not in excess, without abuse, so that we do not pay the consequences for the misuse of this product.
