Hello friend, I'm here once again sharing my thoughts on this important topic in this great community again. I appreciate @mesola for her resilience and hardwork in organizing quality contest. I would be answering these questions.
Blood is a red pigmented dense fluid, found in the body of mammals which carries nutritious and healthy contents, substances and special fluids to and from the body organs for purification and excretion.
The blood has some constituents that gives it it's colour such as haemoglobin Iron just to mention but a few and a host of other substances. It's important to eat healthy to improve the blood volume.
We need blood for a lot of reasons;
The life of an animal is in its blood, we therefore need blood for survival. If our blood is drained off we would all be dead.
We need blood for metabolism, without blood food would not be transported and a slow metabolism is dangerous, we this need blood for better metabolism.
We need blood for our organs to function well, without blood in our organs they would solidify and shrink off, blood keeps them buoyant, it's important to have blood.

There are different functions of the blood which cannot be over emphasised and I would be sharing it briefly with us.
Removal Of Toxins
Toxic waste found in the body is transported in the body by the blood in the veins to the heart where they are purified. The removal of toxins is important function of the blood.
Supply of Nutrients
The blood purified by the heart is transported to the arteries and through the arteries to the whole body. The blood carries nutrients round the body which is a major function of the blood.
Body Messengers
The blood serves as messengers or errand boys which carries purr blood, fluid and nutrients in them round the body to various organs.
Eating healthy is important and some food is important for the blood such as;
Fruits:
Fruits aid the blood as they provide vitamin which aid the white blood cells which aid in fighting infections and diseases in the body. Therefore we need lots and loads of fruits.

Vegetables:
The normal blood volume is about 5 liters, the normal blood is built by vegetables as they increase the production of blood by the red blood cells, thereby increasing the overall blood volume in the body too and increasing the chances of a healthy blood.

Avoid Fatty Food:
Cholesterol is fat accumulated in the blood vessels and fatty food such as cheese, beef meat, red meat causes block in the blood vessels which could cause active heat attack or other high blood pressure which could cause stroke and other diseases.
The blood is the essence in a man's life, grow your blood, eat well and together we grow our lives span and protect our blood from toxins. Cheers.
