What are some common eye care practices that you follow in your daily routine?

Assalamu Alikum, I hope you are well. When it comes to daily routine, for eye care, I firstly use mobile screen protection which is named as Eye care in the mobile phone software. After that, if we talk about it, the brightness of my eyes was slightly low, and I used glasses for some time which is why now the brightness of my eyes is completely fine and I don't have any issues. Apart from this, if I sit in front of any screen like TV or computer, I don't look at it closely or I reduce its light.

Have you ever experienced or have a relative who has experienced any eye-related issues or discomfort? How did you handle it?

Yes, my father's eyesight is weak, and he wears glasses. Similarly, there are many younger and older cousins in the family who wear glasses because their vision is also weak. Additionally, if we talk about my grandfather, he has an eye issue and has undergone surgery once or twice. He works as a cook, and sometimes particles enter his eyes, so he regularly cleans his eyes and also uses eye drops.

  1. Follow the 20-20-20 rule: Every 20 minutes, take a 20 second break and look faar away. 20-feet should be what to see. It helps to alleviate the eye strain that comes with the issue of glaring at the screen for too long. Inconvenience and Constantly Changing Demographics Due to the nature of mass media, commercial messages may be very inconvenient and inconsistent to the consumers.

  2. Adjust screen settings: Make sure that the settings of the screen is right for your eyes like the size of the text and the contrast from the background to prevent the unnecessary strains. Also, think about the installation of a blue light filter or enable night mode if you spend much time on your gadget as opting for such an option would minimize the blue light exposure that causes both eye strains and circadian rhythm disruption.
