Greetings steemians in this amazing and healthy community. Today I'm going to be talking about the efforts I make in order to take care of my personal health which includes : The way I manage stress, My choice of nutrition, taking care of myself and exercise routines. In this contest we will see the measures we can take in nurturing healthy lives.

I would like to begin now but before I do so I would like to invite @ngoenyi, @goodybest and @mesola. Hoping they will all participate let's proceed

  • What small changes have you made to improve your overall health?
    I have been able to change my diet for example I love and eat sweets a lot so I've been able to adjust by eating only a little amount of sweets and then eating a lot of vegetables. I've also changed the routine of staying up late at night so that I could be able to wake up early in the morning without getting fatigued.

  • How have you prioritised taking care of yourself physically and mentally?
    I have done that by being able to socialise with others and engage in many aspects of recreation such as football, ludo and cycling. I have also been able to get more sleep in other to improve my mental health

  • What are your favourite ways to stay active and incorporate exercise into your daily routine?
    One of my favourite ways is jogging. I usually jog early in the morning after waking up from sleep. Another way is through walking. I usually like to walk during the morning as that helps in stretching my leg. Another form of exercise that I enjoy mostly is by playing football. I usually enjoy this form of exercise because I have fun when playing, burn a lot of calories in my body and end up exercising myself. This is my favourite out of the other forms of exercise.

  • How do you manage stress and find balance in your busy life?
    I have discovered that lack of rest and sleep contribute greatly to stress so I have decided to be getting at least 7 hours of sleep in order to ease stress. I have also decided to take the measure of inhaling and exhaling for 5-10 seconds. This has helped me especially when I'm feeling stressed out our provoked. Another measure I've taken is by trying my best to stay away from bad news. I do this because bad news contributes to anxiety and that anxiety gives way to stress.

  • How important is nutrition to you and how do you make healthy eating choices?
    Nutrition is very important in the life of an individual concerning healthy living. I usually like to eat a balanced diet containing all much vitamins, minerals and nutrients. I would likely recommend fruits and vegetables for a great diet. Then drinking a lot of water has helped too as it has been able to flush out impurities from the body.

I would like to appreciate @sahmie for organising and composing such a lovely contest. I also wish to say that I'm delighted in participating in this contest. I really hope you take some this measures seriously as it will enable us to stay healthy. I urge you all to stay healthy and safe, always exercise, have enough sleep and don't allow the weekend to weaken you.

It's important to cut sweets off our lives, and rather incorporate fruits and vegetables in our diet. It's good you go for jogging, I like that too but I must get some breathing time.
