Hello my dear friends of Healthy Steem I warmly greet you all and I believe you all are doing great!. Without wasting much time I will write on this interesting contest topic "Muscular Pain" which is organised by @suboohi.


What do you understand by myalgia?

Myalgia its a medical term also know as muscle pain or aches which can range from gentle to severe pain. This is a symptom not a disease commonly caused by injury, infection, disease, certain drugs or other health problems. You may feel a deep, steady ache or random sharp pains. Some people experience muscle pain all over, while others experience it in specific areas.

Write some common causes of it.

Sports: Their are most sports-related injuries which causes myalgia. Sports like running race,footballs, tennis causes it and may lead to fractures, or broken bones which would exhibit symptoms like pain, swelling, limit in joint motion and reddness in the affected area.

Infection: Viral infections can make one feel achy all over the body and these infections that causes myalgia are commonly bites,flu,malaria and cold.

Poor Sleep Quality:

Lack of adequate and deprivation of sleep causes spontaneous pains symptoms like head aches, muscles pains, and weakness due to over stress at work or business. This may increase the risk of serious bad moods, lack of productivity, inability to learn and retain information, and injury. Notably too much rest may actually increase pain with severe head aches. As they say too much of a thing is not good.

Aging: Aging also contributes to myalgia (muscle pain) however most men and women found themselves with constant aches as they get older. Well don't panic its may be considered a normal part of aging, as more conditions crop up. This can be managed by using pain management, regular exercises,avoiding of canned foods and taking of proper nutrition and supplements like vitamins and omega 3-fatty acid.

How can we reduce it.
We can reduce myalgia through;

Exercises: This act aims to improve flexibility, strengthens muscles and reduceses stiffness and promotes overall well-being of the body.

Cold Therapy: This is another coner-stone of tried and tested method of relieving pain for certain kinds of muscle/joints pains and injuries too. Cold therapy is a therapy with ice or gel packs that are usually kept in the freezer until when needed.

Massage: Massage is another practice to reduce myalgia. This is an act of relaxing and manipulating a person's muscles and other soft-tissue in order to improve their wellbeing. Its help reduce stress and eliminates painful cycle when it's cramping.

Any natural remedy suggestion on your experience that reduce it.

Rest: Taking adequate rest and break from regular daily activities rests the muscles. I try as much as possible to take a good rest after being stressed out from hectic work and this usually work for me when i take a nap.

Ice: Using ice on the affected area for 15-20minute intervals throughout the day keeps the pain and inflammation down.

Massage therapy is one of the natural remedy i go for which is effective for reducing pain, stiffness, and fatigue. It also improve relaxation of mind/mood, sleep, and overall body... although there are types of massage i usually go for self massage. You know sometimes you have to take matters into your hands. By doing so i apply ointment or lotion to my skin sliding and pressuring on the affect area, it helps my muscles relax and feel better as i work them myself.

Conclusion.

Close enough, pains are inevitable in everyone's life and everyone has muscle pains and aches now and then expect for severe or chronic muscle pains which makes it difficult to do things we love. So its essential to know that myalgia is a symptom itself and not a diagnosis. A specialist or doctors will focus on the underlying conditions that may have triggered the onset of your muscle pain and solve them.
