MEANING OF HEARTBURN

Heartburn can be referred as a painful burning in the chest that is majorly caused by a backflow that comes from the stomach usually irritating the oesophagus.

Heartburn can also be defined as the constant irritating of the esophagus, also with the stomach and the human throat. This then causes a burning sensation in the chest or belly that is majorly caused by an acid reflux.

Here are the various causes of heartburn.

• Heartburn can be caused when we consume a lot of freid food especially the hot ones.

• Heartburn can also be caused as a result of Smoking either cigarettes, India herm etc.

• This illness can also be caused due to pregnancy in women.

• Heartburn can be caused by stomach cancer.

• Heartburn is a disease that reacts very well to alcohol, the excessive intake of it can cause heartburn.

• Heartburn reacts to spicy that are been added to the food, if we eat food containing a high capacity of spices, it will cause heartburn.

• Acid reflux can cause heartburn.

1. Make sure you avoid the excessive intake of spicy and greasy food which can trigger heartburn.

2. In other to prevent heartburn, you also need to stop the habit of smoking, this will also help improve your health status and life span.

3. Try as much as you can to reduce the consumption of fried foods.

4. Don't eat food that are hot in other to avoid heartburn.

5. Avoid running to distant places.
