It's very hard to break bad habits because as goes on it , ill turn into addiction whi, h will become more difficult to stop.
I have seen many people with bad habits, and I sometimes wonder why they inherit such nonsense act from, so of them whe. When tell them the, will start abusing you whi, h is very bad.

What are some bad habits that are hard to stop, and why is it tough to quit them?

For me, the bad habits that are hard to quit are as follows

Smoking: This is a habit that is very hard to quit, and I have seen many people who enjoy smoking, and when you caution them, they will abuse you.
The worst thing about these habits is that it kills you slowly by burning your kidney and lungs, and nowadays I see little children hiding smoking and when they come back home they will start misbehaving and talking to people anyhow because they are high.
Their mouth will be smelling cigarette, and they will be shy to come close to people because they know that it is bad habihabits.

Womanising: This is a habit that I have seen in most men, a, anytimeey see womwoman y will just be confused and be following anything under skirts wh ch is bad.
Sometimes th y don't mind going bankrupt just to please a woman, and their desperation for sex will make them to to miserable ch is not good.

When you are a womaniser, you will hardly be useful to yourself because all your money will be going to women, and again, you might encounter a deadly disease or infection because you sleep with anything under skirts.

Drunkeness: I have seen many mature men who are drunkard, and I sometimes whip for them because they are destroying their life by themselves.
This is very bad that I have seen in the life of many individuals, when when seen are drunk you , I'll be able to identify them easily with the way they walk, talk, and have.

All their money will finish in drinks and they will not take good care of their families, they was one of my friend whose dad was a drunkard ans he was wayward because he doesn't take care of his family.

How can we tell if a habit is just a habit or if it's more like an addiction? And what can we do to break them?

You will gradually monitor the person and if he continues doing it all the time you will know that it has become an addiction because they can't seems to do without it, and for them when they don't practice such addiction in a day it will be as if they are going to die.

Addiction is a very bad thing, and it is very hard to break them because I have seen many people wo refuse to stop their addiction because they believe their life depends on it.

A smoker will tell you that If he is to stop smoking he will not survive it, and they don't believe the logo thst says smokers are liable to die young because they believe that if they are to die they would have been dead long time ago.

To break this habits we should stay away from anything that is related or that will lead us in doing such addiction, sometimes we should try and abstain ourselves from it this way we can easily stop such addiction but it will require time.

What are some challenges that people might face when trying to quit bad habits, and how can they overcome them?

They are lots of challenges attached to stop an addiction because it is very hard snd difficult to quit, you know when something have become a part of you it will be as if your life depend on it, and when you stay for long without doing it you will not feel alright or complete, it will be as if something is wrong with you.

It will be as if you want to die, and your body system will not be the same as usual. Stopping an addiction is very difficult, and to overcome these challenges, we have to make up our minds for anything that happens during the process of detaching ourselves from those bad habits of ours that have turned into addiction.
I know it will be difficult, but for our own good, we have to stay positive so as to be free from such addiction.

How can we support and encourage others to quit their bad habits without being judgmental or pushy?

First of all, we all know that our manner of approach is very important in anything that we do, especially when trying to advise someone.
When we approached them in a very good way they will listen to us and who knows they might end up listening yto our advice.

We should try and tell them the good side about them first, this way they will feel happy and important and then we can tell them about their bad side which is their addiction and they migh listen to us and stop their addiction.

Stopping an addiction is very difficult, one of my relatives is suffering from it I hope this post can help because to overcome these challenges, we have to make up our minds for anything that happens during the process of detaching ourselves from those bad habits of ours that have turned into addiction.
I know it will be difficult, but for our own good, we have to stay positive so as to be free from such addiction. Your post is unique,best luck in the contest.
