You are the only source of your happiness. You will get disappointed when you begin to feel your happiness lies on somebody else. Do the things that make you happy and avoid the things that would make you angry and depressed. Th world is already tough enough.

What must I do to conquer depression and anger?

The best way to overcome anger and depression is to see a therapist. Only a professional can do it better. I will also say doing what one loves doing can also help to curb depression, listening to music, and being busy will take one out of depression and forget whatever situation that led to depression. And also getting involved in the things that make one happy is the best way to overcome depression. Make sure to prioritize sleep, exercise, and start to have a healthy diet as this can help to improve your energy level. Engage in activities that bring you joy.

I would say to overcome or conquer anger, one needs to identify the causes/root of the anger, once you can identify them you can begin to address it. For example, if you are angry over work stress, then you need to find a way to manage your stress better and if you are angry because of loneliness you might need to reach out to friends and family to support you. Learn also how to regulate your emotions, that is you should be able to recognize when you are beginning to get angry and that seems to calm you down. We know that it takes time and effort to overcome anger, so be patient and kind to yourself.

What is different between depression and anger

Although anger and depression are both negative. Because when you can decern between anger and depression you will be deal with it. Anger to me is the purging of emotions by someone; that’s doing what we dislike, using words we don’t like seeing our family, loves being assaulted, insulted, or abused. Anger is a short-term intense emotion.

Depression here is caused by what we have done, or what someone did to us, or seeing a situation we are scared to talk about to anyone. Eg, someone who’s made mistakes in the past by living a reckless life, or who had money but lavishly spent it without investment. When our conscience begins to hunt it may lead to depression. Heartbreaks can lead to depression, imagine loving someone, and then the person wakes up one day and tells you he is no longer interested or you heard he is getting married. Only those with strong minds can be able to survive the depression that comes from heartbreak.

What leads us to depression?

Different factors can lead to depression, and sometimes it can be difficult to pinpoint the exact cause for any one individual. However, some common risk factors include hereditary inclination, stressful life events, poor managing aptitudes, and underlying bodily health conditions. The first time I experienced real depression was when I lost my dad, it felt like the whole world was against me. I felt broken, shattered, and abandoned. Losing a loved one, not just a loved one, but a dad, someone you grew up with and have known all your life. People who have undergone trauma, loss, or abuse are also at a higher risk of developing depression.

How do we Cope With Anger and Depression?

For anger, it's important to identify and express your emotion in a healthy way such as through talking to a friend, or engaging in a physical activity. Also be able to recognize and identify your triggers. You can work on developing skills to help you manage your anger in a healthy ways. And seeking a professional help from a therapist.

For depression, it's helpful to engage in activities that are meaning and joy, such as spending time with loved ones, families and friends, engaging in hobbies. One should also involve in identifying and changing negative thoughts and behavior. Mindfulness practices such as yoga and meditation can be so helpful. After I lost my dad, how I coped with my depression was that, I began to hang out a lot, I visit playing ground that is for both adult and children. I drank alcohol and the time to visit a therapy was not there but after research I know know that there are different therapy for different kinds of depression.

Conigative behavior therapy (CBT) involves depression of thought

Interpersonal therapy (IPT) involves relationship depression.

Mindfulness based connigative therapy (MBCT)

Dialetical behaviour therapy (DBT) are the types of therapy that are suggested for people who are depressed.

What is the Treatment for Anger and Depression

There are different treatment for anger and depression.

  • Get involved in activities that makes you happy.
  • Be healthy in displaying your anger.
  • Visit a therapist
  • Avoid things that stress you out.
  • Get medication like antidepressant and anti anxiety drug.
  • Involve in healthy lifestyle like getting enough sleep, eat well and exercise.
  • Involve in cognitive behavioral therapy that is user to treat anger and depression.
    All the above mentioned are the treatment for anger and depression.
