Hello my healthy steemians, greetings from my side , I am @blessedbee from Nigeria, I am happy to join this contest.

First of all what do we understand by the word haemoglobin?

Haemoglobin is the protein which helps in the circulation of oxygen in the red blood cells, it is very important in the human body. It helps carry oxygen to the tissue from the lungs, its respiratory carrier is two ways, that means it helps oxygen to be transported to the tissue and it returns carbon dioxide.

To boost our haemoglobin, there are some healthy foods we need to eat , these includes:

Eggs

Vegetables

Broccoli

Fish

Green beans

Meat

Nuts etc.

Eating foods that are rich in this above mentioned things will help to improve the quality of our haemoglobin in the red blood cells.


IMPORTANCE OF HAEMOGLOBIN COUNT IN THE BODY:


Hemoglobin contains a certain element known as "heme" which is rich in iron, this element aids the transportation of the air we take in to be circulated throughout the body. Hemoglobin is responsible for the colour that the red blood cells have. Hemoglobin count is very important because adequate tissue oxidation is ensured, it is also important to maintain adequate hemoglobin level to promote healthy living.



NORMAL HEMOGLOBIN LEVEL IN MALES

When a person hemoglobin level is low the person will be diagnosed of anaemia. so in males, the normal level of hemoglobin is 14 to 18 g/DL. So it very important for males to eat food that are rich in iron and vitamin C.


NORMAL HEMOGLOBIN LEVEL IN FEMALES.


When a woman hemoglobin level is low she will also be diagnosed of anaemia, it is the same with the men, but the normal level count is not the same, it is different from that of the men, so the normal hemoglobin level in female is 12 to 16g/DL.

CONCLUSION


Hemoglobin is a very important substance that is responsible for the carrying of air to the red blood cells, it is also very important to maintain the adequate level that needs to be available in the body depending on your gender. To hav this done we need to eat healthy foods that contains different vitamins and iron.

I have been hearing of hemoglobin but i never really knew what is was but seeing this your article I now have more understanding of the word. I now know that i need to keep eating nuts, egg, fish, etc and meat but meat is now very expensive o. Weldone for posting this educative article and thanks for the invite.
