Hello my steemian friends in Healthy community. Am glad to welcome you to my entry on Healthy Food Challenge week1 hosted my @mesola.

Food is very important in life. It is a power House of every individual as it help in boosting, give energy, nourish the body, prevent some certain diseases, make the body to grow well.


When eating, don't just eat because it is food. Try to eat food that is healthy as food play a major role in ones life.

👉 what are the healthy food in your place that is suitable for morning, afternoon and evening

As an Akwaibomite, we have varieties of healthy food that can be taken in the morning, afternoon and evening without any discomfort.

This food have nutrients that keep the body in good state. They are food that nourishes the skin, prevent hair lost, serves as antioxidants in the body.

  • Banana pudding (otomboro) can be taken at anytime of the day. A very delicious meal with dictated aroma. When cook, other nutritional benefits are added to it, such as crayfish, periwinkle, vegetables etc.

  • Air potato (Edomo) is one of the edible food that doesn't require much thing. It is eaten just like that once it is cook or you prepare pepper soup and take along side with the food. You can eat this food with salt.

  • Plantain (ukom) is another delicious and nice food that we have. This one has many ways which you can enjoy. It can be taken as bole, as Pepper soup, porridge. It can be cook with other food nutrients such as beans, with vegetables or sauce.

👉 Are this food full of preservatives or is fresh from the garden

They are all gotten fresh from the garden. Normally, all the above listed healthy food are not preservative food because you cook them fresh once it is brought back from the farm and even if you prepare it another day, it doesn't require any preservative method in order to still be fresh.

👉 what are the healthy benefits.

The Healthy food are all packed with nutritional benefits.

Banana pudding contain Vitamin and mineral needed for body growth and development. A good meal for nursing mothers, babies who start enjoying normal food. A good and healthy food for diabetic patient. It improves digestion.

Air Potato 🥔 is good for treatment of coughs, asthma, diarrhoea, dysentery, and some respiratory disorders. A beneficial dietary food for elderly people.

Plantain is rich in fiber. One of the food that contain iron, magnesium, potassium, which help the body for proper build up, providing maintainance for the eye, bone, heart. A recommended meal that lower blood sugar levels. It's good for weight loss.

Wow I love this miles. I don't joke with the banana any how you prepared it I will eat. Even the porridge plantains is one of the food I eat this week.

I really love foods that are like this.

Akwaibom is a state in Nigeria blessed with varieties of food, I will really like to try different dishes anytime I visit Akwaibom.
