INTRODUCTION

The lifestyles we choose to live do affect our entire life. The food we eat, the environmet we live in, and the physical exercises, all of them affects our entire life.

In a broader perspective, achieving a healthy lifestyle is a challenge that requires urgent attention in developing nations. Most impoverished nations lack nutritional supplements, live in unhealthy environment and lacks resources or facilities that enhances their physical well-being.

Now in opinion, I would say that poor nutrition, unhealthy environment and lack of facilities that enhances physical well-being are major contributors of unhealthy lifestyles. I therefore make my input on this import health topic as hosted by @suboohi.

What is a healthy lifestyle?

Living a healthy lifestyle goes beyond having nutritional suplements that helps to sustain the body. Just the food we eat matters a lot to the body system, so does exercises, clean environmen and physical fitness are important to have a wholesome healthy lifestyle.

HEALTHY LIFESTYLE:
In a clear term, a healthy lifestyle are those behaviors or actions that are taken to avoid ill health in order to live a longer and happier life. There are Some basic behaviors or actions that could be taken to avoid ill health and live a longer and happier life.

Some Basic Healthy Lifestyle Habits to Get Better Health

  • Good Mental health practices

  • Physical health practices

  • Nutritional health supplement

  • Social connectivity

Some Examples Of Health Problems That Can Be easily Overcome by Changing Their Lifestyle

There are unhealthy lifestyles that requires to be changed in order to live longer. These unhealthy lifestyles creates serious health problems when we fail to imbibe a healthy lifestyle. Hence, the following health challenges could be overcome by changing lifestyles:

  • Blood pressure and diabetes: Having blood pressure would increase the chance of a person to have cardiovascular desease. On the other hand, an increased blood sugar levels would lead to diabetes. To be on a safe side, a healthy lifestyle to be adopted is to maintain a constant regular medical check up on blood sugar and blood pressure levels.

  • Anxiety and depression
    Lack of physical exercise may result to anxiety or depression. This is because regular exercise improves mood, reduces stress, and even lowers the chances of depression and anxiety. Regular exercise also improves mental health.

  • Mental health distortions:
    Poor or lack of quality sleep may result to increased chances of obesity and mental ill health. Having a quality sleep is healthy lifestyle that boosts the immune system, repair damaged cells and helps in hormone production.

  • Heart, liver and brain damage:
    Substance abuse is another unhealthy lifestyle that causes severe health damage when it is not controlled. Substance abuse such as alcohol and drug , causes severe health problems weakening the immune system. Another health problem emanating from substance abuse is liver, brain and heart diseases. Abstaining from substance abuses is a measure to control or prevent these health problems.

CONCLUSION

Adoption healthy lifestyle go a long way to enhancing life longevity. The physical exercises strengthens the body tissues and engenders mental health wellness.

Having a good diet is also an important healthy lifestyle everyone should imbibe on. Healthy diets suplies the body with the needed nutrients for the body to be sustained and function well.
A healthy lifestyle should be encouraged as without it, life could be shortened.
