"Bleeding Gums"
I am glad to join this great contest and would like to thank @suboohi for initiating such a useful topic. In today’s topics, I will be focusing on one that affects so many people but is rarely taken seriously—Bleeding gums. Despite the fact that it may appear utterly trivial and unrelated to general health, gum bleeding accompanies such severe pathologies as gum diseases, improper care, or nutritional deficiencies. The categories mentioned above help to explain why the problem occurs and how it is possible to avoid it evolving to a severe quandary. As a result, in this article, I will focus on enlightening other readers with information on why this problem is able to occur and how we might be able to stop it.

To my mind, such a problem as bleeding gums is one of the first signs of bad oral health and can be associated with diseases such as gingivitis. It can thus be very alarming if some people consider it normal that their gums bleed every now and then; this is actually a sign of something worse such as tooth loss. It might also be a result from vitamin deficiencies, various health issues or conditions. Many individuals should visit a dentist regularly to avoid these factors that cause these complications and improve oral hygiene.
In my own knowledge, there are many possible causes of bleeding gums, most of which people pay no attention to. Some Common Causes of Bleeding Gums :

🔹Poor Oral Hygiene: Failing to brush or floss can cause the formation of Soft deposit known as plaque that causes gum inflammation.
🔹Gingivitis: Periodontal disease stage that is often a result of poor personal oral hygiene practices and results in bleeding.
🔹Harsh Brushing Technique: This is and can lead to gum bleeding as a result of brushing hard.
🔹Vitamin Deficiencies: Deficiency in vitamins esp. vitamin C or K also lead to bleeding of gums.
🔹Medical Conditions: Some medical conditions such as diabetes or blood problems may enhance your likelihood of having bleeding gums.

🔹Maintain Consistent Oral Hygiene: Floss at least once a day and brush with a soft-angled brush twice a day to lessen the chance of plaque.
🔹Use a Gentle Brushing Technique: Just remember not to brush too vigorously because you can harm your gums in the process.
🔹Regular Dental Check-ups: Go to the dentist often for checking and cleaning so that problems if any can be addressed at the beginning.
🔹Increase Vitamin Intake: Suggested that populations enhance the consumption of their Vitamin C and K diet to help improve gums and the reduction of bleeding.
🔹Manage Underlying Health Conditions: Manage other illnesses such as diabetes, since it causes bleeding in the gums.
Considering the case of my younger brother with bleeding gums, I’ve noticed my mother use a number of natural remedies together with an appropriate medication.

🔹Saltwater Rinse: Warm saltwater rinse reduces inflammation and kills bacteria and must be done at least once in the morning and once before bed.
🔹Clove Oil: Applying directly clove oil over the gums in form of massaging eases pain and also reduces bleeding.
🔹Aloe Vera: Using a freshly prepared gel of aloe-Vera relieves the inflammation of the gum line and also tackles the issue of bleeding gums.
🔹Green Tea: This tea also reduces swellings in the gum area which makes green tea a great drink if you want to boost your gum’s health.
