Today weāre getting in deep on a topic that affects allāof our lives every single day, whether youāre super into fitness and health or just want to be able to maintain energy levels so you can help your kids out at night with homework: eating a balanced diet and nutrition.
Food is more thanāmere fuel; itās the beginning of our wellness. Whether you want to stay energized, stay healthy, or just stay feeling your best, whatāyou eat can make a big difference.

š„ The Power of a Balanced Diet ā My Healthy Choice
To eat well, is not a trend, It is aālifestyle! In todayās article, Iāll discuss the importance of aāgood diet, itās impact on our health and how I go about it with my own choices and tips. The meal in the image above is one I personally prepared, filled with fresh vegetables, fruits, boiled egg, avocado, cucumbers, and leafy greensāa perfect symbol of nourishment!
What do you understand by balanced diet?
A balanced diet is such that it provides your body all the nutrients itāneeds to function properly. This is the combination of carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitaminsāand minerals. Every one has an important job:āproteins are for building body tissues, carbohydrates for energy, fats help in absorption of vitamins and fiber for digestion.
The pictured, colorful mix that is on my plate here is just how easy (and delicious) it is toāmix these food groups in natural, healthy ways.
Effects of diet on overall health.
What you eat affects howāyou feel. Theābenefits of regularly eating balanced meals include:
Boost immunity
Maintain healthy body weight
Enhance mentalāclarity and uplift mood
Control for chronic diseases like diabetes andāhigh blood pressure
Aid theānormal growth and repair of body tissues
On the flip side, crappy eating can lead to lack of energy, mood swings, digestive problems, or long termāillness.
What diet do you prefer for your health care?and why?
For me Iād rather go for veg-diet with natural proteins such as egg, dal, avocado etc.everyone have different choice and everyone haveātheir own way of losing weight. I mix together raw vegetables such as; cucumber, lettuce,ātomato and carrots and fold in fruits such as mango and healthy fats sourced from avocado. I choose this because:
It's light and easy to digest
Itāis full of antioxidants and fiber
I find that it gives meāan even and slow release of energy for most of the day
Supports my skin and body to beāhealthy
I love this because itās easy to prepare, light on the stomach, and rich in vitamins. Plus, I stay energized and hydrated all day!
