Salutations my esteemed steemians. I'm delighted to participate in this amazing and lifesaving contest organized by @aaliarubab. In daily healthy dynamics contest, today's theme, which happens to be health-related issues such as Sports, healthy food, weight issues, check-ups etc, presents an opportune moment for me to discuss the transformative power of exercise in our daily lives.


Exercise plays a vital role in promoting healthy habits and lifestyle choices, how? Let's discuss about exercise and the impacts it has in our health.

The importance and types of exercise in health

The importance of exercise cannot be overstated, regular exercise has various benefits for the body, spirit and mind. Some of the importance and types of exercise in our health are;

  • Low risk of chronic diseases

Exercise helps to fight against and reduce the risks of chronic diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, obesity, cancer etc. Those individuals we see in our environment with swollen stomach are suffering from obesity and that's not a healthy lifestyle to embrace. With the help of regular exercise, this can be taken care of. To reduce the risk of obesity, Russian twists, leg raises, brisk and walking exercise are best recommended.

  • Building stronger bones

Weightlifting or weighbearing exercises plays a crucial role in our health, because it'll help build and maintain stronger bones in our body as well as building our muscle mass and strength. Weightlifting adds to our natural power and prolong our natural endurance. A person who consistently lift heavyweight cannot be compared with someone who hasn't visited a gym before.

  • Brain health improvement

Balance exercise is one of the physical activities that can help in our brain improvement and functionality. You can practice this 4 times a week by standing with one of your leg for about 10 to 15 minutes. Though it won't be an easy task, but for your health, you have to try. While enduring the pains, your brain will be forced to many thoughts and navigation, and this process adds to it functionality and improvement.

  • Heart rate increment

One of the biggest benefits of swimming is that it truly works our entire body, head to toe. Swimming plays a vital role in our health because it increases our heart rate without stressing our body, tones muscles, builds strength and builds endurance. Swimming helps in reducing the risk of stroke which is a deadly disease, that's why some elderly people do visit the pool once a weak to avoid such diseases.

  • Adequate sleep

Regular exercise is very crucial because it'll increase the quality and duration of our sleep. Each and everyday i go to the gym, my sleep duration differs from other days I stay at home. The tiredness we feel at the gym will all be converted to weakness whereas leading to adequate and good sleep which is very important in our health.


In summary, good health is very crucial and worth seeking for. It's very important to incorporate regular physical activity into our daily lifestyle so as to reap it benefits and enjoy a healthy, good and fulfilling life.
