All around the world, mental health problems affects millions of individuals. Young and old from all economic and educational levels, diverse ethnic groups, and religious backgrounds are having to deal with distressing symptoms. Knowing that the Bible contains practical guidance that promotes physical and mental health shows that health is very crucial. How can we enhance mental resilience? I present my entry below 👇🏾.

What daily habits enhance mental resilience?
  • Reading

Reading affect mental health, rehabilitation or meditation enhances it. Reading good and interesting novels or book can reduce stress as well as enhancing mental health. Reading books allows us to relax, with so doing our nerves are calm and unwind, that's exactly what i most of the time especially in the evening to calm my nerves, and it works perfectly for my mental health.

  • Avoid taking harmful substances

What we take into our body system daily will determine if we're ready to enhance mental resilience. To enhance mental resilience, we should avoid taking harmful substances such as caffeine. We should eat balance diet on a daily basis and also limit the way we consume alcoholic drinks because all these factors can impact well-being and resilience.

  • Exercise

Including exercise into our daily routine is one of the activities we can participate so as to enhance mental health. We can exercise by doing pushups, riding, jogging, running, playing football, swimming etc. Do you one day sit down and think why most people visit the gym every morning before going to work? It's because they've benefited from it. Exercising on a daily basis enhances mental health indeed.

How does diet influence mental health?

Diet can influence mental health in numerous ways. Eating balance diet with lots of fruits and vegetables can support mental health and well-being. There are some certain foods that are high in refined sugars in which we take into our body can increase the risk of mental health disorders. Taking in minerals and vitamins can support brain function as well as enhancing our mental health.

What activities promote emotional balance?

Socialising and building strong connection with others can help promote emotional balance. When we're with friends, the burden and stress on our head will be lessen because this group of people provide emotional support and fun to be with. To promote emotional balance, we should have some good sleep. I know it may be difficult to do this because of the ups and downs world we're living in. Despite this, health is very crucial and to enhance mental health, sleep is very important.

Conclusion

Like i said earlier, health is very crucial that's why God himself gave some guidelines in the Bible practical ways we can enhance mental resilience and maintain a good health. When there's life there's hope, so my little advice to steemians is to try as much as possible to stay healthy and safe. I love you all🥰

When we're with friends, the burden and stress on our head will be lessen because this group of people provide emotional support and fun to be with. You're actually, sharing some moment with friends helps in enhancing our mental resilience. Talking about sleep, I know some people included me may find it difficult to adhere to this but it's really necessary. Our health matters. Well done bro.
