When we can say that a person is an alcoholic:-is being addicted to alcohol.having continuous problem with family, school or work because drinking of too much alcohol and not being able to stop the drinking of alcohol once you started.

My answer is yes.
Alcohol is drugs and drugs means alcoholic has an inpact on emotion, perception and cognition.so alcohol is a drugs once you are addicted,if care is not taking you may not able to get rid or abstain from it.

Yes alcoholi is a disease.Alcoholic is a substance use disorder and it is a chronic disease of the brain that can happen to anyone.
How can it be control?
It can only be control by taking treatment which involves contacting a health care professionals,or by going to the hospital.there are available medication that reduced the desires of drinks.There are effective drugs that can be used to treat alcoholism. And it can also be control by self determination to stop drinking of alcohol.i know some that was addicted to alcoholic and I can remember that disulfiram, naltrexone and Acamprosate was given to him and it's help reduce the desire of drink in him.

every drinker can never be considered an alcoholic.because they are people who only take one bottle of alcoholic drink and get satisfied with that.there are some who dont Even drink alcoholic drink but only take soft drinks or energy drinks.

To be honest my brother, Addiction of any kind needs persistent determination, remorse, and self-discipline and I don't think excessive alcohol is an exemption. For one to stop or quit this obsession of excessive intake of alcohol, one must stand firmly that he will not take even a drop of alcohol for the meantime and stand by his word.
