I prefer intravenous. Intravenous injected treatments take just a few minutes and provide quick comfort. The difference between the two is that in Intravenous the reaction is quick but short term whereas in intramuscular the reaction takes a little time but stays for longer period comparatively.

In order for providing a precised and quick medical dosage , intravenous injection would be better .
