SEC-s13/w5/“How can alcohol cause damage to your health?!”

Alcohol is a drink that people take,but it isn’t just a normal drink like soft drinks or juice but it’s a substance that can affect the human body system and cause damage to the body.
Alcohol is taken nowadays by different kind of people both young and old,which has become a serious problem to the society.

A person is said to be an alcoholic when he abuses the use of alcohol,becomes addicted ,obsessed and can’t go a day without taking it.Alcohol is needed in the human body but it shouldn’t be in excess because excess of everything in the body is bad.

Little alcohol is present in the food we takes and that’s enough but alcoholic people go excess and take excessive alcohol that the body needs.
Alcoholics tends to get obsess with alcohol and drink different types ,not caring about their health.Taking a glass of liquor doesn’t make one an alcohol,some times we all need to relax and take a sip but when it becomes everytime and consistently that one can’t do without it,one becomes an alcoholic.

Alcohol is partially a drug because it fits the definition of a drug,it changes the body system when taken.Alcohol is present in most drugs and food we take,it is needed in the body but it shouldn’t just be in excess to avoid damages.

Alcohol is also known as Ethanol is science,which has its uses,it’s used for different thing not just for food but also in the hospital,and other field of life but still it’s disadvantages is more than that of its advantages .It is partially considered as a drug due to the reactions it gives to the body when taken,it has a lot of effects.

Alcoholism is definitely a disease!It is considered a diseases due to the fact that one needs treatment for it,when alcohol is taken too much the damages it costs one can make one to loose his or her life.It is an addiction,it slowly breaks down the body system ,the internal system of one and does so much damage to one but those drinking it will just think they are having a good time until the consequences and problem starts up.
An alcoholic not only harm himself but also his family,friends and community and society.

Alcoholism comes with diseases like ulcer,cancer,liver problem,depression and so much more.Some people drink due to one or two reasons,some due to sadness and depression or anxiety,to clear one’s because alcohol gives one that few minutes of solace where you forget everything that’s wrong with you and some due to peer pressure.
Can alcoholism be control?yes it definitely can,one can take help and support from one’s family,friend or society.Religion wise,it is a sim to take alcohol,so one can fall back to God and ask for forgiveness and the strength to avoid all temptations to stop taking it,going to the hospital for checkup to know how much damage it has caused,Taking advice and support from psychologist,going for a therapy and a whole lot more.

Not at all!not all drugs are considered alcohol,drinks containing alcohol are usually written on the label.Beer,whiskey,liquor,seaman and the likes are alcohol and a whole lot of other brands.Juice,soft drinks like coke,Pepsi ,Fanta,yogurt and the likes are just juices and drugs with no alcohol and therefore suitable for all ages.It is normally written of the label of an alcoholic drink the percentage of alcohol present in it and it is banned for those less than 18.

In conclusionAlcohol is a drink that causes so much damage not just to one’s health but also to the society.one can die ,have various sort of diseases and also accidents when is high,behave violently and abnormally.it is a practice that should be prohibited for one’s well being and that of the community.
