This sentence was popularized by Decimus Iunius Juvenalis, a Roman poet of the 2nd century AD in Satire X. This term was then used in sports and health jargon throughout the world.
Mental disorders are generally influenced by lifestyle, diet, social, economic and spiritual interactions. Maintaining mental health requires knowledge and insight to be able to live a good life.

What daily habits enhance mental resilience? |

Daily habits or a good lifestyle are believed to be able to increase mental resilience. For example, get enough rest, don't stay up late at night, stay away from alcohol, and always interact socially with the people around you.
Apart from that, take your time for peace of mind, for example on holiday to the beach or to a comfortable place, far from your daily routine. Vacationing doesn't always have to be expensive, the important thing is that it is fun and keeps your mind fresh.
Sometimes, dependence on gadgets and social media can cause stress. This is influenced by the various information we read containing negative and positive content, including hoaxes which make our brains continue to work to filter until we try to understand the various content.
So every now and then, reduce your interaction on social media. Replace it by reading books that contain science and knowledge.
How does diet influence mental health? |

Diet has an important role in maintaining mental health. In much research and literature, I found that a good diet can help a person feel better. Some things to pay attention to are;
Eat regularly to keep sugar levels stable in the blood. This can prevent fatigue and irritability. Consume a balanced diet, paying attention to the carbohydrate, protein and various vitamins contained in fruits and vegetables.
Drink regularly to prevent dehydration, because dehydration can make your mental atmosphere uncomfortable and interfere with concentration. You need to be careful not to drink too many drinks that contain caffeine, such as coffee, tea, chocolate and cola. Too much caffeine in the body will disrupt sleep patterns, making you easily anxious.
What activities promote emotional balance? |

I improve my emotional balance by doing several things, for example exercising alone or in a group. Exercise can make you feel more comfortable because it improves blood circulation throughout the muscles and brain.
Furthermore, as a Muslim, I always worship Allah such as praying and reciting Al-Quran. Pray to Allah (God) in every difficulty you face can increase your sense of comfort because of spiritual belief. This is difficult to explain in simple language.
Emotional balance can also be improved with a positive attitude towards everything we face in life. Positive and wise thoughts are generally related to a person's insight and knowledge. Positive thoughts need to be trained continuously to maintain mental health. []
