Hello Steemians! Well come to my post. How are you all? I hope that you will be doing well by the grace of Almighty Allah. I'm also fine and enjoying my day. Today I'm here to participate in this amazing contest which is organized by @khursheedanwar in this Healthy Steem community. The topic of this contest is "Self Care". So let's start the task without any more delay of time.

What is the importance of Self Care?

Friends self care means that taking care of ourselves such as taking care of our physical health, mental health and overall well being. It is very important to be very careful about ourselves because we are only responsible for our health. Self Care teach us how can we love ourselves and make our self better than our precious version. The reason is that when we take care of ourselves stay happy, keep ourselves healthy mentally and physically than we can enjoy every moment of our lives.

On the other hand when we don't take care of ourselves we may fall ill and thus we remain unable to enjoy the best moments of happiness and joy in our lives. So in results the self care plays a vital role in maintaining our overall wellbeing and also has many impacts on our behavior. This is because of when we are both physically and mentally than we can easily deal with others and can face challenges of our lives.

Explain 4 Steps to care yourself

  • 1. Balanced Diet: The diet is one of the basic need of every living organism like humans also it has a huge impact on our health. So it is very important to maintain a balanced diet to keep ourselves healthy and fit. Try to eat natural foods, fruits, and the foods which contains minerals, proteins and vitamins also. Drink plenty of water especially in summers.

  • 2. Play Games: Try to manage your timetable and spend some of your Time in playing sports because playing physical games is very important for us as they keep us fit both physically and mentally. Also when we play games it burns a lot of calories, reduce weight and keep us healthy.

  • 3. Take Breaks: Also try to breaks from your tiring routine of work and spend some time with your family and friends. Because they are very important part of our lives and spending some time with them, sharing problems and talking with them reduce stress and make us happy. In this way our mental health also improves.

  • 4. Go for Adventures: Also try to explore new things by visiting tourist places and spend some time in nature. This is because nature, greeny and feeling the chirps of birds on trees improve our mental health and provide us happiness.

What do you think regarding statement (Self Care is selfish)?

Not at all I don't think that the self care is selfish because taking care of yourself is the right of every individual and I think it is very good to be possessive of ourselves. When we take Care of ourselves we can maintain balance, resilience and can face every challenge of our lives. Self Care allow us to enjoy every moment of our lives with great delight because self care also teach us to manage stress and take out the solution to every problem. So considering self care selfish is not a good thing.

Thank you so much my friend for the invitation. It is an interesting topic because some of us are so busy taking care and provide for other, that we forget to take care of ourselves. You have highlighted four major ways which we can take care of ourselves which includes balance diet, play games, take a break and go out for adventure. Self care is indeed really important because we have to be fits to take care of others.
