The problems children can face due to malnutrition?

Friends according to biology the deficiency of essential nutrients, minerals and vitamins in the body of children is called the malnutrition. The deficiency of all these things can lead towards many serious health problems for children and can put many long lasting effects on their bodies. Due to that reason they remain unable to live their lives normally like other children. They can face various problems due to malnutrition such as stunned growth, weaken immune system, deficiencies of other nutrients and many more problems as well.

  • Stunned growth means that incomplete or defective growth of body such as hands, feet, brain and fingers etc.

  • It can also leads towards the abnormal growth of body structure due to the incomplete development of bones.

  • The children may face several diseases due to weaken immune system of their bodies and due to this they may easily get prone to viral disease.

  • Also due to weaken immune system they can suffer in diseases again and again after the shorter interval of times.

  • The Malnutrition can also delay the development of their bodies such as emotional, physical and brain development.

  • It can cause the deficiency of other vitamins and minerals such as zinc, copper, iodine and vitamin A also.

Share the factors contributing to malnutrition.

Yes there are various factors which can cause malnutrition in children and make their lives difficult. So friends according to me the poverty is one of the key factor which can contribute to the malnutrition. This is because due to the unavailability of food and less intake of vitamins and minerals can cause malnutrition in children. Also the malnutrition starts when a child is unable to take breastfeeding because the milk of mother is a complete diet for new born. So when a child unable to drink mother's milk, he may get prone to malnutrition.

Besides it there are many environmental factors which can contribute to the malnutrition such as poor sanitation, living at polluted area, drinking contaminated water and don't taking care of hygiene may cause malnutrition. Besides them a sudden change in climate and weather due to Any natural disaster can highly contribute to the malnutrition because during these conditions it becomes difficult for people to live their normal lives and thus it affects their children's growth and can cause malnutrition.

How can we protect a child from that issues?

Yes it is very important for us to protect our children from malnutrition because it leads towards serious health problems and can make their lives miserable. So its requires a collective efforts of mother and father to keep their children away from malnutrition. According to me the following points can be help in protecting a child from malnutrition. Let's have a look at them.

  • First of all in the first six months of baby born try to provide breastfeeding to your child because the mother's milk is a complete diet.

  • Through breastfeeding they will remain safe from the diseases and also they will be able to get essential nutrients from mother's milk.

  • After that arrange a balance diet for your child such as a diet that contains essential vitamins, minerals and other nutrients as well.

  • Try to provide fruits and other natural things which are very good in maintaining a healthy life style. So that thing also improve overall well being of a child.

  • Try to improve the sanitation conditions of the area in which you are living and try to keep the area neat and clean.

You can give suggestions to improve health care of children in developing countries

Yes friends there are many things which can be beneficial and helpful in improve the health care of children in developing countries. In this case the first thing they should is to teach the people about the basis of health, healthy food, healthy lifestyle and healthy environment as well. The reason is that the in developing countries the illiteracy rate is very high due to which the people remain unable to understand the important aspects of lives. So the first thing we should do is to raise awareness about the healthy and unhealthy conditions so that the people can understand easily.

Also the government of that country should make the medicine free and send special heal care professionals to the areas where the rate of illiteracy is high and people are poor. By doing that the people can easily cure their disease from the highly qualified doctors and other health professionals as well. Also they should teach the people to keeping their environment neat, clean and pollution free so If the environment is clean, they will be safe from diseases. Also they should provide the availability of maternity homes at remote Areas.
