Where appendix is located and how much severe appendix pain is normally?

Appendix, a small tube like structure present at the lower side of the abdomen in human body. It is attached to the large intestine and when any particle of food enters into it, it turns into a medical condition called appendicitis. Appendicitis is basically, the inflammation of that tube like structure present in human body and when it occurs, can create serious problems for that person as the raptured appendix can leads towards major health issues including the infection of large intestine and that area.

The appendix Pain vary from person to person and can be severe to moderate depending on the condition of its occurrence. Usually, the appendix pain occur in the lower side of abdomen and sometimes, it can be even severe to unbearable. The severity of appendix increase over time especially when it left without any treatments. So whenever you feel any discomfort or pain in that area, immediately go to the medical specialties without wasting any more time.

Have you ever been suffered from appendix pain?

I think, any person can suffer in appendix even in children and in adults. But Alhamdulillah, I have never suffered in appendix or any other type of that condition. It is one of the blessings of Allah Almighty. But I know one of my cousins who suffered in appendix a few years ago. At that time, we were sitting together around the fire in winter season and suddenly, he started moaning with pain. Within a few minutes, his condition became severe, seeing this we decided to take him towards the doctor to prevent him from further damage.

Then, we called the ambulance, took him to the hospital and admitted him in the emergency ward. After that, the doctors came, examined him and suggest that the surgery is the only option left to deal with that condition. Then, we agreed on that and my cousin were took to the operation theatre, where his surgery was performed and the doctors came with a good news that the appendix have been removed successfully.

What's an immediate action you need to take after Appendix pain?

Appendix is known as an emergency disease as it comes with a lot of nausea, vomiting, fever, swelling and pain in the abdomen. To deal with such condition, different types of immediate actions are required to overcome that disease on time. So according to me, the following actions we should try to take after the appendix.

• First of all, when you realize that, it is appendix pain, then visit the nearest hospital to seek medical guidance from professionals.

• Secondly, stay calm and try to stay on the bed instead of walking it will help you to overcome the pain.

• Stop eating or drinking anything because it can increase the pain and can create more complications.

• Stay away from painkillers and other medicine in that condition because it can be more dangerous.

• When pain occurs, immediately go for a proper medical check up from health professionals.
