"cancer awareness week2 - cervical cancer"
Hello Steemians! Well come to my post. How are you all? I hope that you will be doing well. I'm also fine and enjoying my day. Today I'm here to participate in this amazing contest which is organized by @mesola in the Healthy Steem community. The topic of this contest is "Cervical Cancer". So let's start without any more delay of time.
As we all know that the Cancer is a group of abnormal cells which can divide uncontrollably and can destroy the other tissue within the body or any specific area of body. The Cancer is a very severe disease and it can spread in the whole body and cause death. There are several types of cancer which can spread in both males and females due to the division of abnormal cells. Being a biology student I have some knowledge about the widely spread disease in humans.
The cervical cancer is the development of abnormal cells in the lining of cervix (The lower parts of uterus) in females. It is found only in females. When that Cancer becomes chronic it can result in death of that individual. There are several causes of cervical cancer and the HVP is the most common cause among them. The HVP is a human papilloma virus which can be transferred from one person to another during sexual contact. Besides it the causes of cervical cancer are:
- Unprotected Sexual activities
- Long Term infections at the cervical walls
- Sexual activities at very young age
- Performing Sex With more than one individuals
Friends the cervical cancer is just a cancer like other cancers. So I think its treatment is very similar to other cancers. However its treatment include various factors to keep in mind like age of patient stage of cancer and patient's health condition etc. However according to following methods we can remove cancerous part from the cervical ares and can eliminate it completely.
Surgery: The surgery is an effective method to treat cervical cancer. In this the Cancerous part from the cervical walls can be removed permanently and reduce the risks further increase.
Chemotherapy: It is also a method of cancer treatment and in this different drugs are engulfed by the patients which destroy the Cancer cells from roots. More ever it also reduced the growth of cancer and stop it's further division.
Radiotherapy: In the radiotherapy the a beam of ionized radiation are targeted on the Cancerous part and thus kills and remove the remove the Cancers.
Friends there are several method of diagnosing the cervical cancer in females. The Pap smear test is the most common and effective method of diagnosing the cervical cancer. In this method the samples from the cervical part of females are taken, sent to laboratory and then examined through the pap test. The pap test detect the Cancerous areas and can be protect it from further spreading.
As in the above section I have discussed that the main reason of cervical cancer is human papilloma virus and then HPV test is also an effective method to detect or diagnose the cervical cancer. In this test the presence of HVP in females can be detected and thus reduce the risks of further spreading. Besides there are many other methods to diagnose the cervical cancer such as colposcopy and biopsy. If you are witnessing the symptoms of cervical cancer then you go through these tests to diagnose the cervical cancer.
Basically the pap test is also called the pap smear test which Is used to diagnose the cervical cancer in females. So the pap test is very compulsory for the female this is because it detects the early symptom and signs of cervical cancer and thus help us to start timely treatment and precautions to get rid of cervical cancer. More ever the pap test can also detect the presence of HVP in females and can reduce the risks of developing cervical cancer.
Usually the Main cause of cervical cancer is HPV which is a human papilloma virus which can transfer from one person to another during sex but besides it there are many risk Factors of cervical cancer. Such as :
- Weak Immune System
- Use of Tobacco (Smoking)
- Previous history of STDs
- Having sex with more than one person
- Unprotected Sexual activities

Cancer is the uncontrolled division of cells which destroy other cells and then the whole tissue.Civical cancer is too much dangerous thing. I first time heard about this disease and your blog is the reason for it. THANK you so much buddy for inviting. It increased my knowledge. You have explained things very beautifully and concise.
