Contest !! || Heat stroke
Hello Everyone, I am @abdul-rakib
From #Bangladesh
People's lives are affected by high temperatures. So far 13 people have died of heat stroke in Bangladesh this summer. The Ministry of Education has announced the closure of primary and secondary schools in Bangladesh due to excessive temperature. Heat stroke victims are those who work outside in this temperature and those who do not follow proper rules in the heat. Today I'm going to participate in the competition Heat Stroke hosted by @khursheedanwar, a respected moderator of the Healthy Steam community. I invite you to participate in this contest @hudamalik20 @sinthiyadisha @aviral123
Heat stroke is a serious medical condition in which body temperature regulation fails, leading to dangerously high body temperature. Temperatures above 40°C can cause heat stroke. For example, if someone works outside in hot weather without taking breaks or staying hydrated, they may develop heat stroke. Symptoms include confusion, dizziness, nausea and even loss of consciousness. Immediate treatment is required to avoid serious complications or death.
Heat stroke usually occurs when the body is unable to cool itself effectively in hot and humid conditions. Several factors can contribute to its onset:
High Temperature: Prolonged exposure to high temperatures, especially during heat waves, can overwhelm the body's ability to dissipate heat.
Dehydration: Inadequate fluid intake, especially in hot weather or during vigorous physical activity, can lead to dehydration, impairing the body's ability to sweat and cool down.
Excessive physical activity: Strenuous exercise or labor-intensive work in hot conditions without adequate rest or hydration increases the risk of heat stroke.
Age: Infants, young children, and older adults are at higher risk of heat stroke due to their reduced ability to efficiently regulate body temperature.
CLOTHING AND ENVIRONMENT: Wearing tight or heavy clothing that inhibits sweat evaporation, or being in confined spaces with poor ventilation can exacerbate heat-related illness.
Medications and Substances: Certain drugs and substances, such as diuretics, stimulants and alcohol, can increase the risk of dehydration and impair heat tolerance.
Overall, heat stroke is a serious condition that requires immediate recognition and treatment to prevent complications and ensure a positive outcome.
Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of water and electrolyte-rich fluids, especially when engaging in outdoor activities or working in hot environments. About 2 to 3 liters of water should be drunk per day as it is necessary for the body to carry out normal functions, but the amount of water may change due to hot weather, physical activity, weight, rate of weight loss, overweight position, medication or other medications.
Limit outdoor activity: If possible, avoid strenuous outdoor activity during the hottest parts of the day, usually between 10am and 4pm.If you must be outside, take frequent breaks in the shade and rest often.
Alhamdulillah by the grace of Allah I have never suffered such a heat stroke. I farmed in the village at high temperatures but taking care of myself. I took short breaks and drank water while working in high temperatures. Avoiding heat and proper dehydration are essential to prevent stroke.
Good luck to you.
I wish you well

Thanks for your compliments.
The heat and hot temperature is really getting out of hand. Before the government shutdown school because of that means it's very common over there. Well, it's good they take such decision because it's a very dangerous illness. I've learnt a lot about hear stroke when i raed your post. Best of luck 🤞🏾
It is definitely a concern when the temperature rises to the point of health risk, especially for school children. Heatstroke can indeed be a serious and dangerous illness, so it is wise for the government to take proactive steps to protect people's well-being. I'm glad my post provided some insight into heatstroke for you. Stay safe and take care in hot weather.
My pleasure 😊

Undoubtedly, a temperature in our body higher than 40 c can affect us significantly and can give us some undesirable side effects, such as headaches, nausea and vomiting and loss of consciousness. It is advisable to always be hydrated and always seek shade in summer days when the sun is stronger and hits more.
Greetings friend @abdul-rakib and success.
Current Bangladesh is experiencing high temperature and admission of patients in hospitals. Staying in the shade and drinking plenty of water is very important for staying healthy. In our country, heat stroke death is happening. Thanks for your nice comment.
