Happy Caturday... and Happy Mother's Day
Greetings Fine Felines and Hoomans of Steemlandia!
It is an important weekend we have arrived at!
Surveying the world from the Mom-Hooman's office!
Not only is today Caturday — my favorite day of the week — but tomorrow is Mother's Day in many countries around the world!
So happy Caturday, and Happy Mother's Day to those who are celebrating!

Of course, I was orphaned as a kitten, so I have no idea who my mother is. All we know is that my littermates and I were dropped off near the local animal shelter and had to find our way in the world from there.
And so, I am definitely grateful to have a Mom-Hooman who has given me a warm safe home, and who loves me!

Last night's excitement was that we could actually see a strong display of "Northern Lights" from our back yard. The Hoomans spent a lot of time out there, looking at the skies... I stayed inside, catching up on my naps!
Even though we are quite a long way north here, the Aurora Borealis is seldom more than a bit of green shading near the northern horizon... but last night it got quite bold and even with some shades of pink and purple!

In any case, the Hoomans seem to have calmed down again from their trip away... but not for long!
The Mom-Hooman is leaving again on Tuesday morning to attend a "retreat" in Idaho, where she's presenting a workshop. So it will just be us cats and the Dad-Hooman, for almost a week!
That's OK, though, he takes good care of us!

Yes, we have taken many thousands of photos of the cats, over the years.
Most of them are not worth sharing, because cats are not necessarily willing models! In fact, I would hazard a guess that we have more photos of so-called "cat blur" than we have usable pictures!
But that's OK — we have fun with it! Hopefully, you do, too!
And with that, I'm going to say thank you for visiting, and I hope you had a most excellent Caturday, and that your Mother's Day tomorrow is a good one!
