Greetings, Fine Felines and Hoomans of Steemlandia!

I hope this past week has treated you well, and that you have had a good Caturday... because Saturdays mean Caturday!

Not much happening around our neck of the woods. There aren't even any good sunny spots for me to take naps in, because it has been very cloudy and foggy for the past week, and the last three days have been pretty much non-stop rain!

What's a cat to do?

Well, fortunately, I have plenty of nice warm cat beds where I can take refuge when the weather gets like this... even though this feels more like October weather than August!

Go away, rain!

The Mom-Hooman went to Seattle this weekend to house and dog sit for the Daughter-Hooman, who went to Canada for a few days off, because it's her birthday.

We all hope she had a good time, up there! We can actually see Canada from our back patio, so it's actually not very far away!

Because there has been so sun and heavy cloud cover, the house has been a little on the cold side. The Hoomans turn the furnace off during the summer... which is normally OK, but at the moment we are grateful for our warm beds!

Undoubtedly, we will now have a second round of "late summer" in September. It often happens like that!

No further news on the plans to have a new cat — or cats — join our little household. The possibility now exists that we might adopt a cat from a cat rescue service that helps people re-home pet cats if they have to move somewhere that doesn't allow pets.

It's all very up in the air at the moment, but I really wouldn't mind having someone else to keep me company when the Hoomans are working.

Meanwhile, it has been nice to see the Cryptosphere show signs of life again... even if it hasn't amounted to very much, as of yet.

It would definitely be nice to see our own Steem token get back up past $0.25 again... this "bottom dragging" does not feel very inspiring!

Let's hope for the best, for the rest of 2024!
