Greetings, Fine Felines and Hoomans of Steemlandia!

Saturday means Caturday, and Caturday is my favorite day of the week because it's when we get to unashamedly post cat pictures everywhere!

"Caturday on Saturday" is a pretty old web tradition that started on the huge 4chan message and image boards, probably as early as 2004 or 2005.

Since then, it has become a global phenomenon, celebrated by cat lovers everywhere... posting pictures of their feline friends and cat memes every Saturday.

Although nobody's exactly sure, I think the LOLcats phenomenon grew out of the original Caturday memes. Regardless, it's still my favorite day of the week, because... cats!

It has been a fairly quiet day at the Curator Cat household... the Hoomans are up late because... well, not entirely sure why, because they are strange like that, and keep strange hours.

I don't mind too much... we cats can find a reason to nap at pretty much any time!

Meanwhile...

Seems like things were going pretty well in the cryptosphere for a little while, with $30,000 Bitcoin and Steem looking up, but now it all feels a little more rocky.

Makes me wonder just how long these rather miserable times are going to last. I realize some of this might also be tied into the troubles in the conventional economy... but one gets tires of looking at red numbers most of the time!

Still have a ways to go before I get to 2,000 Steem Power...

Still not much sign of new pet-related content here on Steemit... sometimes if feels like I am almost alone in my Caturday posts... although there are a couple of other people who post regularly.

Wish more Steemians enjoyed posting about their pets!
