Greetings, Fine Felines and Hoomans of Steemlandia!

We are running a little bit late with the Caturday update this week. The Hoomans had multiple sets of guests this week, and even though I tried to draw attention to Caturday... the Dad-Hooman was just not "available" to help me put up a post.

But that's OK, because I have now pestered him enough today to get him in front of the computer!

Anyways, it was a very busy week for all of us! The Hoomans were dealing with lots of "people stuff" from Wednesday through yesterday... very unsual, since my Hoomans typically prefer to keep to themselves.

I did enjoy last night's guests, because they were definitely "cat people" and even are the caretakers of a fellow black cat!

My sheepskin is one of my favorite napping spots!

Smudge Health Update — Recovering!

Smudge recently had her 19th birthday and was unwell for about ten days or so... not eating much, not using the litter box and essentially moving very little.

We were quite concerned that she was preparing to come to the end of her life... as is to be expected with a very old cat. We made her comfortable in a warm room, and checked on her regularly.

The good news is that Smudge is feeling better, and is now back to roaming the house freely again!

As it turned out, she was having difficulty passing a particularly large hairball that likely kept her intestinal tract blocked (or partially blocked) for several days. It finally came through, and she's much happier now... eating and drinking and using the litter box as normal.

We're all very happy about that!

Steem Tokens Slowly Ticking Up...

It has been really nice to see our Steem token slowly finding it's way back to $0.25 again, after the disappointing retreat after the New Year. I was really worried we go back below 20 cents.

Of course, the Bitcoin rally has been helping, but I'd like to think there's also some community confidence, now with work having started on modernizing the Steemit web site!

For now, I'm just pinning my hopes on the next target of passing the $0.30 "mini peak" we saw back in November.

And that's about all we have for the current update... the Dad-Hooman is insisting that we get this published, so he can get back to his own work. That's OK... the Mom-Hooman is popping popcorn and preparing to watch some TV!
