The diary of a woman
Welcome to my Sunday Dairy, My Sunday was a great day for me, after my usual morning routine, I dressed up for church finally happy after the previous days I'd had. Before I get into how the day has been, a little recap of what I've been up to for the past few days too.
This last week has been a rollercoaster for me. First, my phone was spoilt, then didn't have light and the network was poor too.
My phone started disturbing me on Thursday when I wanted to make some post but it was handing. I was working with my phone on Thursday when it went off, I had to find someone who had the generator to power the phone only to discover it had developed software problems. Everyone had an opinion as to how to get the phone to start working again.
On Saturday, I was able to repair the damages and flash the phone resulting in losing almost all my files, and was able to get the documents I'd uploaded to Google Drive.
During Sunday school, we treated the theme: The Easy Way, we moderator made it an interactive class where everyone had to contribute something to the topic.
The Bible study discussed how we are a generation that wants everything fast and easy, even in our spiritual walk with God. Paul reiterated the importance of walking with God. Indeed, sometimes things will not happen the way we want them to but that doesn't mean we should give up all hope.
The main service started around 10 am, it was a fun session where the man of God used storytelling to drive home his message to the congregation. It further cemented what we had started treating early in the morning.
The present government is not doing anything that would give you little hope that things will be better.
But, even amid these things,
- There is a need for patience.
- To find joy and happiness in the little things of life.
- To not copy just because you want to feel important among your peers. You will only end up with debts you can pay off.
- And not to settle for less but to strive for more.
In the evening, I moderated the launching of NGO on Facebook for Women Of Might (WOM), a Non-governmental Organization that helps women grow in both capacity and personal life. The NGO was founded on April 2023 on LinkedIn, for the past months, they've made quite a name for themselves on LinkedIn, then decided to launch and expand their reach on Facebook too.
The Founder during her Welcome address, appreciated all women for making time to be part of the event. She also encouraged women to see beyond just getting married, they should look into their growth because believe it or not, men need both a submissive woman and one who can contribute meaningfully to the growth of the family both financially, mentally and physically.
A community is a group of people that come together to support each other.
In her words, "I want a place where women can find the support they wouldn't find in other places. To provide an umbrella to network with the elite personnel in the organization, to help women get better at discovering their unique qualities and put them to effective use."

You had some bitter experiences last week. Phone Spoil, Power Down, poor Network Signal - A boring week. Anyway, on Sunday your phone is fixed which is a matter of joy. Although you have lost a lot of your personal data. You have also joined online meetings. Which is an NGO to establish women's rights that was founded LinkedIn. Thank you for sharing your diary with us.
