The Diary Game #44: Share your day with us!
June 13, is a day of Joy for a lot of the Nigerian Corpers as the Batch B1 set concluded their Service to the country for a year.
Usually, Thursdays are days for CDS, Community Development Service Meeting so even if we weren't part of the outgoing Corps, we also had to come for our meeting.
If I were to rate my day, I would rate my Thursday a 10/10 for ticking almost all my to-do lists for the day.
God knows it was a struggle to leave my bed because the weather is just perfect to wrap myself with a blanket, watch some movies and sleep some more. It rained heavily the night which meant I slept soundly and didn't want the day to break.
Only if wishes were horses, then it would have been possible but unfortunately, I have work to do.
Immediately it was 6 am, and I started my work. I hopped to the account I'm managing on LinkedIn, had some enquiries I had to attend to, and responded to a lot of customers' comments and questions.
When I had handled my tasks as a social media manager by 9:00 am, I had time to eat breakfast before preparing to leave.
The energy was high when we got to the secretariat. My colleagues could not contain their happiness. Immediately we came, we took several pictures with our friends celebrating them.
The LGI addressed us, encouraging the ones who have successfully completed their service year. He cautioned us to be alert to every information that comes in and we should adhere to the rules and regulations of both the state and the federal.
My colleagues and I came back by 12:35 pm, taking a bike that cost #1200 from the Secretariat to our lodge. It took time before we found one willing to take us home at that price because our place is far and not motorable.
In the evening, we had a little party at the lodge, filled with dances, funny games and all sorts.
Next, it would be my turn which I can't wait for the time to come.
In the evening, I went on with my job to handle the things I couldn't all through ten afternoon.
I got on a call with my client to discuss some things he would love to implement in the strategy we are using. Prior to the meeting, I had already drafted out a outline of what we can use, pointing out what was working, and not working. How he can generate better engagement and generate leads from his target audience. The results we were getting on his page was already good, so he heeded to my advice.
I invite @eveetim, @joan-na, @richy20 to participate in this contest.
Nice one, congratulations to your colleagues who have just passed out from the NYSC scheme, I hope they find favour in the favour and not labour market.
Meanwhile, this is the second time I've heard you mentioning the "social media manager" on your post. I'm interested to know what that is and how I can also enroll on it.
I can see you had a lovely day, I hope the outgoing copers killed goats for their party sha.😜
Thanks for the invitation dear, I'm trying to find where to write my own diary game, I think I should also put it here. Here's sending you best wishes.
Yes, it wasn't a small celebration. Please do write your own, I would love to read about your day.
