The Diary Game #26: Share your day with us!

Thursday got me dressing up for our usual CDS, which happens weekly every Thursday. I didn't finish on time, so I left while my colleagues had gone 30 minutes ago. Our LGI (Local Government Inspector), addressed all Corpers on being tuned to our environment, being conscious of things happening, and not aggravating some issues that should not be.

A few minutes after he finished addressing us, he briefly left to attend to an issue. Then, a fight broke out between a male and female corner, it took a while to separate the two, from us pleading with the guy to calm down and to the girl to shut up because she was making the matter worse by running her mouth and being rude, but it took several minutes before they calmed down. The LGI later came back surprised that this happened a few minutes after he left. He was livid with them for exhibiting such behaviors. He went further to reprimand the girl for being rude and worried why she insulted him in the first place. He also told the guys that he should have held it in, that is not ignored the fact that the girl was at fault, he should have been the bigger person to avoid the situation and not let his anger control the outcome enough to want to fight a girl in public.

After we closed from the Community Development Service (cds), I rushed to prepare for the next schedule for my day. So I'm part of a women's community named Women Of Might Community (WOM). This focuses on women's matters, we handle health matters, educate the women on various skills, pray together, and hang out for fun.

Today, I moderated a Pre-Valentine Round Table Discussion taking about how to Spice Up Our Valentine. We had 6 speakers but only 5 were on the ground. The event took place on telegram giving chance to other women to partake in the event and record it for offer to listen in when they have the time. I took the time to rehearse with my co-moderator of the event. When it was 40 minutes to the event, I reached out to the speakers, reminding them to get ready and to all our invitees.

From 6 pm to 8 pm, the fun began. The women came prepared, answering each question with ease. Some of the questions raised were:

• What is your favorite thing about being a woman: The speaker explains that being a woman is more than just a wife and a mother. Being a woman is knowing your worth, your value she what you have to offer to society. She encouraged the women to be confident in who they are, what they are, and what they can do. That it is in embracing our femininity.

• What are your favorite of celebrating self-love:This speaker told the ladies that sometimes, we mustn't wait for people to take us out. You can start by loving yourself, by appreciating yourself, by affirming your worth, and by taking yourself on a date. She encouraged the ladies to take themselves out, do something fun that they've always wanted to do, feel their inner child and just be themselves without judgment.

• How does the statement, *If you love me, prove it" affect us as women: The speaker addressed us by saying that it all begins with understanding who you are, if you are truly assured of your value nobody will make you do things you don't want to do.

A lot of questions were addressed after which, I opened the floor for other women to give their input and ideas. The event ended successfully.
