SEC16W3: Raising boys and girls
I am a mother of a boy and a girl as the grandmothers say I have my couple, what one learns as a child regardless of sex influences future attitudes, I raised my children with that tradition of blue for the male sex and pink for the female although this was not decisive simply girls look cute and tender with light colors, For me it was just a matter of style, nothing more, however with respect to this there are different opinions and there is no definitive rule that this has to be so in the end the most important thing is that children feel comfortable with what they are wearing.
When my children were small I used to buy them toys according to sex, but if they wanted to exchange their toys there were no problems, it was not alarming, the important thing was to explain the biological differences between a boy and a girl, but without generalizing because not everyone behaves in the same way, not everyone is interested in the same things, it is the parents' responsibility to guide and orient the children instead of forcing them to have a certain behavior.
The education of children at home begins even from the mother's womb the way parents talk and relate to him or her influences their growth, parents can help our children to develop in a healthy and respectful way, I do not want to sound prejudiced nor do I want them to be offended, but I follow the natural ideology of life for me there are only boys and girls and following this line I raise my children in this way both have the same rights and the same opportunities at home both the female and receive the same education even in household chores there are no differences.
My children are grown up and things have changed with respect to the colors they should wear, that is a subject that has already been overcome, my son being a boy wears pink flannels or light colors, that has no meaning, of course he is grown up, but as a child I don't think he would have done it, this is my opinion.

This is important, if they exchange toys it does not matter but it is important that they identify with their sex, that they feel good being boys and girls and if there are doubts we can guide them without alarms, because children always have many questions.
Exactly Marito I agree 100% with the traditional model of only two genders, without giving much importance to toys, I played with boys and that does not confuse my sex, it is the parents' responsibility to orient.

Ciertamente, los colores no tienen nada que ver. Las niñas se ven tiernas con colores rosados. Hoy en día hasta los niños lo usan y eso no inciden en su comoor. Lo importante es que se sientan cómodos con la ropa y colores que elijan.
