With us pap is porridge and it fills the stomach for a long time. We say if we eat rice we are hungry after 1 hour.

You mean rice doesn't last longer than 1hour in your stomach... That's ok.
No I mean after 1 hour one feels hungry.
With three meals a day (average I have 1) being hungry after one hour doesn't sound okay to me.
