Some people can barely afford food, let alone clothes. The lady fell into this category.

For people like that, it is best to be empathetic to them.

The kids did not understand this and ridiculed her instead.

It would have been best if they offered her clothes to wear if they had some to lend. Or remain kind to her.

This reminds me of the portion of the scriptures which says "Do to others what you will like others to do to you."

I'm glad that her story got changed for the better.
