I was taught that food is anything we eat to satisfy hunger. I agree because whenever we eat anything be it food, snack, fruit etc, we satisfy hunger and feel good.
Food is any substance we take in to get filled and stay out of hunger for a period of time. Anything edible can serve as food and we eat them to satisfy hunger.

Among the six classes of food, which one do you take most in a day and why? |

We have six classes of food;
• Carbohydrates
• Proteins
• Vitamins
• Fats and oil
• Minerals
• Water
Among the six classes of food, I take Carbohydrates more in a day. I choose this because almost all the food we eat here, contains Carbohydrates.
Starting from breakfast to brunch, lunch and dinner, there must be a high content of Carbohydrates in it. Even when I have a mixture of vitamins and proteins in my meal, the Carbohydrate percentage is usually high.
I would say that I don't love consuming more of Carbohydrates but because we have more Carbohydrate contents in all our foods here so I don't have a choice.
When do we say that we have a "balanced diet?" |

I think it's when all the classes of food are present in one meal. Eating healthy and eating a good amount of food in the right proportion is balanced diet.
When we have a balanced diet, it means we have eaten a good amount of food, vegetables, fruits, drinks and water to complete it. I don't think there is any balanced diet without water.
When we eat good foods, drink good drinks and drink clean water, then we are sure to have a balanced diet.
Do you think we should take water immediately after meal or before meal? State your reasons |

I think we should take water 5 minutes before meal, or 5 minutes after meal. This was told to me by my family doctor.
Taking water before meal, allows you consume more food than expected or better still, drink water after you must have eaten your food.
Taking water after meal makes way for a proper digestion of meal. Most times you notice that when you drink water while eating or immediately after eating, your stomach no longer allows you move around.
You become so heavy that you might need a help to get up, that is really bad and so water should be taken 5 minutes after food.
