Stories are ways to relax our mind, feel good, laugh, cry, and learn at the same time. Relax let me share an interesting story with you.

The fearless Fox and the Cub

There lived a fearless fox in the countryside of the western cape. The fox was so clever and fearless that no other animal dares to come close. The fox enjoyed all the freedom he has and fed himself with other animals.

One day, he noticed the existence of a cub close by and wondered where the little cub had come from, but he only observed from a distance because he was already thinking of devouring it as his dinner.

The next day, the cub came again to have fun. He played and played while the fox kept looking and observing to know when to strike. I'd told you the fox is a very clever animal. The cub kept coming and coming until one day, the fox decided to show himself to the cub.

"Hello, little one," said the fox. What are you doing here all alone?

"I came to play all alone," replied the cub.

"I haven't seen your mother around; why did you come all alone?" asked the fox.

"My mother is busy and asked me to go and play, so I came here. Did I do something wrong? asked the cub.

"No, you did a good thing by obeying your mother. So now can I be your friend?" asked the fox.

"Yes!, yes!!, yes!!!, I'd love to have a friend, replied the cub."

"They both smiled at each other and went to play."

After awhile, the fox returned home and was pacing around because he had wanted to serve himself the cub's meat but he needed to get close first before striking.

The fox kept pacing and wondering what his next line of action would be. He began to plan on what to do to the cub and how he could eat him up without anyone tracing it back to him.

The Cub visited his friend the Fox the next day for them to play as usual, but this time the Fox asked the Cub to follow him to a very special place where they would have so much fun together.

When they got to the place, the cub asked what they were doing here. But the fox said they have come to play as usual, but this time in a very special place.

There was an empty well by the corner; the well is so deep and dry, but the fox had planned to throw in the cub into the well, so the fox managed to draw the cub's attention to where the well is, and immediately he came close; the fox pushed him into the well.

The fox had planned to eat up the cub right inside the well where no one would see him. He jumped into the well, and immediately, he bounced on the cub and ate him up. He ate all the meat and was satisfied.

Now, the fox forgot to plan his way out after jumping into the well. Unfortunately, he was stocked in the well because there's no way out for him. He screamed and screamed but no one was able to help him. He was now caught up in his own act.

The fox spent the remaining days of his life inside the well because he couldn't get out, and he died after a long illness fell on him.

The fox was clever and fearless, but wasn't clever enough to plan his way out after eating the meat. It's funny but pathetic at once...
