Hello everyone; it's your girl @tripple-e from Nigeria, I trust you are all doing amazingly great. I am here to participate in this amazing contest of "choices! What will it be? Organized by our grand patron @patjewell, and this is the week 69 already. Wow!

So I'll be caressing my keypad writing on the topic "KINDNESS". And that happens to be the last option but as the saying goes "The last shall become the first".

What is Kindness?:

"A beacon of humanity"

Kindness can be expressed in many ways my darlings; it could be in that your small or big gestures like; rendering a helping hands, through a simple smile which signifies acceptance and encouragement and so on but one outstanding thing about "kindness" is that; its makes the world a comfortable and a better place for us to live in.

Even the bible mentioned kindness(in new international version) as one of the fruits of the spirit for us to posses as seen in the book of Galatians 5:22-23 which says:

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

Therefore Kindness is a quality that depict gentility, showcasing the attitude of care and rendering help to others and also by considering other people's feelings and their well being when doing things and we make sure to do things to their comfort and overall happiness.

And this quality (kindness) can be expressed through these five elements that I'm going to list below:

• Compassion: This is you feeling or having the concern to help people whether you have it or not.

• Empathy: Is like you stepping into the shoes of someone else in order to feel what they are feeling. That is you have the ability to understand and share in their feelings. And when you understand what they are going through, definitely you'll do something to help.

• Consideration: This is where you think about the effect of your actions on others by considering them, would it Mar or build?.

• Selflessness: This one is hard to some people to carry out especially in this selfish world we live in, where everyone is just concern about "Me, Myself and I". Can you actually put the needs of others before yours?. hahaha! Well my friends that's "selflessness". And

• Generosity: This is your willingness to share, give whatever you have to others without actually expecting something in return.

Let me share a little of my life experience concerning my last point:

I was in need of a job, then I met a big man who was in a position to give me or employ me very comfortably but NO he didn't, instead he was asking me to give him something in return which was my body before he could offer me the job and I told him "oga to hell with your job". And it was funny how he claimed to have shown me kindness and I turned it down by not compromising. Can you just imagine that?. Hmmmm!

In Conclusion:
In showing "kindness ", do not let your left hand to know what your right hand is doing. Please ponder on that.*
