CONTEST! Choices! What will it be?

Introduction

Happy Sunday friends, how are you all doing today? Today I will be posting in this steem ladies community for the first time. I also thank @patjewell for creating this contest. I invite @yakspeace and @jyoti-thelight to participate in this contest. Among the five words selected, have decided to choose that of washing, I hope you all will enjoy it.

Washing! Washing!! Washing!!!

Washing is known as the act of keeping something clean with the use of water and detergent or soap. You can't just say you are washing something when you are not even using detergent or soap, just ordinary water, such thing anyway is known as rinsing

Alot of people always feel reluctant to wash their clothes most especially the white ones because they are too lazy to wash them clean. Am hardworking and I wash my clothes twice a week, I always wash in the morning so that my clothes can get dried before the end of the day.

Examples of things that we wash

Here on earth we wash alot of things to stay healthy, we can't stay a day without washing one thing or the other and the following are few things we wash 👇

• Cars
• Clothes
• Shoes
• Plates
• Water bottles
• The floor
• Toys
• Bags
• Kitchen utensils
• Chairs
• Tables
• Refrigerator
• Sink
• Water Closet and so many others.

Advantages of washing

• Washing makes us neat.

• Washing frees up from diseases.

• Washing makes our clothes more attractive.

• Washing makes our surrounding neat and comfortable to live in.

• Washing makes our things last longer.

Disadvantages of washing

• Our surrounding smells if we fail to wash the washable things around us.

• We get disease if we fail to wash our clothes weekly and our plates daily.

• Without washing our properties, they won't last long.

• If we fail to wash our personal belongings, we may have body odour.

Dont's of washing

Surprisingly, washing has it's own rules and they are known as 👇

• Don't leave anything in the pocket of the clothes you are washing.

• Don't soak clothes in water for too long.

• Don't use too much soap or detergent while washing.

• Don't put too much clothes in the washing machine if you are washing with such machine and so many other rules.

Steps in washing clothes without using a washing machine

• Get a basin and bucket

• Rinse them very well and use the bucket to fetch water from the tap.

• Turn the water from the bucket to the basin and detergent.

• Select the clothes you want to wash and soak them in the soapy water.

• Water for the clothes to soak for a while before you finally start washing.

• Ensure that you wash the clothes clean and Rinse them properly.

• Lastly you spread the clothes outside when is sunny.

Conclusion

When it comes for washing, we mostly talk about clothes instead of something else because clothes are what we put on and before we wash any other thing, have to make sure that we wash a clothes that we will put on to wash other things. Thanks for reading.
