Pot plants, often referred to as container plants, are grown in containers like pots, baskets, or boxes rather than being planted directly in the ground. This gardening is very popular in society, since it is flexible, transportable, and simple to maintain. These pot plants are growing both indoors and outdoors.

A plant that is grown indoors, such as in homes or offices, is known as an indoor plant. Indoor plants are frequently cultivated for visual beauty and health benefits such as indoor air cleaning. Overwatering or underwatering an indoor plant can both be harmful. When we keep an indoor plant in a room, it not only looks attractive but also reduces the overheated room's temperature. Indoor plants help in the gas absorption process. Therefore, these plants aid in improving mental wellness as well. In today's world, there is an excellent need for indoor plants. Nowadays, It has become fashionable.

Outdoor plants mostly use by those who live in apartments or houses with small yards. When placed on a balcony, porch, or windowsill, those potted plants look stunning. In addition to flowers, fruits, vegetables, and even extremely large trees are grown in pots. The art of bonsai is an excellent model for developing very large plants.

In modern society, bonsai-style plants are well-known and have a considerable market. There is something special and charming about these bonsai plants. Currently, those are quite expensive on the market.

When planting in a pot, we need to think about the pot's size, placement, and climate. Different plants require pots of various sizes and shapes. For example, a plant that requires dry soil may need pots with good drainage. That will stop water from gathering at the bottom of the plant and creating root rot. Similarly to this, tall plants require larger pots. There are many different types of pots; some are made of clay and metal, while others are made of cement, plastic, etc. Some gardeners have made creative pots by reusing recycled materials like barrels, teapots, bicycles, cartwheels, and more.

Even though maintaining of a pot plant is very simple, there are a few important guidelines that must be kept in mind. Watering is the first and most formal regulation. The over-watering will be caused to root rot or any other diseases. Potted plants need to be watered frequently, depending on the plant's type, container size, and environment. In addition to regular watering, the periodic fertilizer will ensure that they have the nutrients they need to grow strong and healthy.

Pruning is yet another important part of maintaining plant pots. Pruning regularly will help to encourage healthy growth and keep it from being too bushes or overgrown. Using scissors or pruning shears, the pot plant can be shaped into the required size or shape.

It is also necessary to replant the plant once every year or every two years to provide it with adequate space to grow and thrive.

Numerous advantages, both decorative and practical, can be obtained from potted plants. It can add color or life to any area. Additionally, it enhances air quality and provides fresh food, vegetables, and fruits. Even for an experienced gardener or a just starting one, the pot plants offer a flexible and enjoyable alternative that will help them to connect with nature and improve their surroundings.
