Good day my dear friends, this time all the words given by @patjewell are very attractive. She wants us to pick one topic and get started writing. As I close my eyes to consider what topic to write about, the word WHEELBARROW flashes in front of my eyes. Therefore, I decided to start writing about this interesting topic.

As you are all aware, a wheelbarrow is a simple device that can be used to transport heavier loads from one location to another with minimal effort.

These days wheelbarrow is taking a very important place in our home because the second stage construction of my son's house began. The previous wheelbarrow we used to build the ground floor of his house was damaged and no longer fit for use. Therefore, we had to buy a new one. Even though we use it for construction work as homeowners, it has been used by gardeners for many years. Although it is a simple device, it has a big value in agriculture and construction fields. This wheelbarrow is made of metal or iron and has a single wheel and two handles. Even though the wheelbarrow's design appears simple, the action performed by the wheelbarrow is not simple.

When we look at the history of the wheelbarrow, we see that it originally had a simple wooden frame and a bucket between two handles. This innovative device transformed agriculture and construction by allowing people to transport heavy goods with ease.

This simple device is made up of three main parts: the wheel, the handle, and the tray. The wheel is made of a durable material such as rubber or plastic and can be easily moved even in rough terrain. While the handle allows control of the direction and balance of the wheelbarrow, the tray which is made of steel helps to transport a variety of materials.

In my son’s construction site, the wheelbarrow is used to transport bricks, sand, cement, soil, and other construction materials. But gardeners all over the world use it for a variety of tasks. They mainly use it to transport soil and compost, because it can easily transport large amounts of soil and compost from one location to another.

Because the wheelbarrow could carry heavy loads, the workers at my son's site could complete the building work faster and save their time.

On the other hand, wheelbarrow maintenance is very simple because it does not require any fuel or electricity. To keep them in good condition, it is essential to clean them regularly, to prevent rust. It can be used long-term while providing dependable service to gardeners and construction workers.

One day when I was going to my son’s construction site, neighboring kids used it for play. While one kid was sitting in the wheelbarrow, another child was pushing it around the site. When I saw this incident, it took me back to my childhood. We too used to use wheelbarrows for the same purpose that they do now.

Wheelbarrow never gets a chance to breathe because everyone is always using it. However, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the country was put on lockdown, and all work was halted. As a result, the construction site has also been brought to a halt. The wheelbarrow only takes a breath at that point.

However, because all construction work had begun now, again the wheelbarrows has no time to rest.
