Good afternoon steemians, how have you guys been doing today? I wish to share my entry for this contest today and I will be talking about one of the 5 things @patjewell said we should choose and I choose a helicopter.

This contest is a very nice one and I hope to have the opportunity to participate again next week. I hope I win this time around because I will give this week contest my all and I will try my best to participate with other steemians so as to have higher chances of winning.

Helicopter

A helicopter is a type of aircraft which has long blades at the top and they rotate very fast once is about to move for flight. A helicopter can stay still on the air and is able to fly vertically, horizontally, forward and downward.

A helicopter can be used for transportation as it is able to only contain 1-8 passengers. People make use of it for research on the land from a higher view, tourist guides, shows and so many others.

Few information about the helicopter

The helicopter was created by a French who goes by the name Paul Cornu who was able to design the first helicopter. It was used on the 13th of November 1907 at coquainvilliers with the help of 24-horse power engine. Am glad it came into existence.

The current price of a helicopter is ranged from as low as $145,000 and high as $1,350,000.

A brief story

I will love to tell you guys a sad story of a helicopter crash, it was through a short video I watched few months ago. In a foreign country, new couple got happily married in the church and they were to go to the reception which is going to take place in an event center far from the church.

Instead of these couples to go to where they will do their reception, with a car, they wanted their wedding to be a memorable one so they decided to use a helicopter. They used a helicopter and arrived at the venue in which lots of family, friends and well-wishers were waiting patiently for them to arrive.

When they are saw the helicopter they go so excited and as the helicopter was about to land, something happened and it turned uncontrollably and crash on the land right in the front of everyone who began to scream. Some rushed to save the couples and others inside but they weren't fast.

The people present then were only women, children, old men and the young strong men there weren't even up to 4 so they couldn't save them quick, others stood helpless, unable to save them.

All of a sudden the helicopter caught fire and these people were still inside, the people still trying to save them, ran away helplessly in other not to get burnt because the helicopter will soon explode with lots of fire and it finally did so and that was how the couples with those who accompanied them, got burnt and died in the helicopter.

I and my siblings were so emotional, my elder brother said if he was there, he wouldn't have hesitated to save at least one person. The problem might have came from the pilot who lost control of the helicopter. It was really a huge tragedy 😓💔. Thanks for reading.
