Choices! What will it be? #18

Hello dear steemians

How have you guys been doing since the beginning of the weekend? Am been doing fine as well as struggling to keep on being consistent in this platform. A friend of mine recently achieved her first dolphin, she's older than me in this platform with just 2 months and my steem power is isn't even 2000 yet, I think is time to even stand up and not sit up, I need to put more efforts. With time I will achieveu goals. I appreciate my dearest friend @patjewell for creating this contest.

Sport

Sport Sport Sport hmm, such a simple word with a bigger meaning. Sport is currently ruling the word and am sure you guys know that sport is the easiest thing that brings countries together. Sport is seen as an entertainment and business as well because lots of money are involved in sports.

Sport can be defined as any competitive physical activity that involves different skills and also guidance from it's rules and regulations. Alot of people are sportsman and woman and they are making money from this. People love sports because it gives them joy, am talking about the sportsman and their fans.

I get excited each time I remember how numerous sports are, we do have so many sports and am always surprised that non of the sports worldwide is even lacking a sportsman, everybody has their own field guided by their interest and passion. I will quickly list few sports for you guys now, starting with my favorite.

Different sports in existence

*Sports has really made us happy as well as forget our sorrows, we get very excited each time we win league or championship. The following are few sports.

Basketball : This sport is my favorite and it contains 5 skilled players, the aim in each game is to successfully put the basketball in the opponent's net and ensure your team gets a higher score than your opponent so that winning can take place. Nigeria women also did very well in the women's afrobasket Rwanda 2023.

Football : This is the most popular sport in the world, it has to do with 11 players which must ensure that they score more goals than their opponents. Currently the women FIFA world cup is going on and I was happy when my country Nigeria was out.

Race : This is a one man sport in which team isn't involved except is a marathon race, in this sport, the runner ensures that he wins the race by being the first to reach the finishing line. This sport requires lots of energy, stamina and endurance. Am a good runner Incase you don't know.

Lawn tennis : This is a very exciting sport to me and I did very well the second day I tried it, am sure I will be 80% good in this sport if I try it. It has to do with the people separated with a net known as boundary and given a racket each to hit a tennis ball to each other non-stop, anyone who fails to hit the ball and allows it to fall on the floor in their lane, eventually lose.

Volleyball: This sport is just like lawn tennis but the only difference is that the lawn tennis boundary is below while that of football is above. Another difference is that the lawn tennis doesn't have team mates but this sport has. It has to do with each of the two teams throwing the ball at each other, making sure it doesn't land on the ground.

Shotput: This sport isn't popular at all, it has to do with the act of throwing a heavy hard and round metal ball to a particular distance. Once a person's ball goes very far than others, the person eventually becomes the winner. We do have so many others sports but these are the few I feel like talking about.

Extra discussion on sports

Sports that has to do with teammates always has a coach, the coach helps the players to do very well in any games they play and this happens through his/her training with the players. The coach has every right to discipline each players.

I remember a basketball movie I watched in which a particular basketball high school team won without the help of a coach as one of the basketballers is the coach himself and he was coaching his teammates while playing. People get paid from sports and my dream is to get paid from basketball once I manage to join the NBA.
