It's your favourite Steemian @rakiya from Nigeria and I'm delighted to join in this contest organized by @ninapenda in this noble community today. It's a wonderful contest and I love to share my participation in it.
💖 In your understanding, what is love?
In my opinion, love means to have an unconditional feeling for someone. When you don't have any condition attached to why you like someone, then it means you are in love with the person.
Love has to do with sacrifice and dedication and giving your all for someone. When you do all these things without expecting anything in return, it means you have love in you.
A good case of love is that of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The Bible said that God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son and whoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life.
Here we saw a clear love of God. Even when we are not acting as he wants he still shows us his love by sending his only begotten son.
💖 Love your neighbour as yourself should it be when your neighbour is wicked to you? Yes/No Tell us more
The statement Love your neighbour as yourself means to love unconditionally. Yes, even if your neighbour is wicked to you or not, continue to love the person and pray for the person for a change of heart.
When you love someone even when the person is wicked to you, it means you are displaying real love and that is what is obtainable. The person will change someday because of your attitude towards him or her.
Everyone has a conscience and seeing that someone refuses to pay you back evil for evil means you should rethink and change your way of life. So that is what love your neighbour as yourself entails.
💖 Share a story of your love experience.
Since I was a kid, I have seen unconditional love shown to me by my parents. I remember a time when I was so sick and couldn't eat, my mother also refused to eat and she continued crying and begging me to eat no matter how little.
She insisted that unless something enters my belle, nothing is going to enter hers. This continued for almost a day, I felt pity for her and then I forced myself to eat. So that is one of the scenarios of love I have seen.

Yes, Love indeed bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and love never ends. Every true love doesn't record wrongs so its target is to see that everyone is happy at all times.
You know love doesn't bring sadness or bitterness, so love is always interested in giving the best to all those involved. So with the few points, you will agree with me that the statement above is true.
💖 What do you think about sharing love just once a year?
Love shouldn't be shared just once a year. What the feast of Saint Valentine means is a reminder that we should always show love and not that it is the only day love should be shown.
In life, we need to be reminded of something to always keep going in the right way and that is the main reason for the memorial of Saint Valentine. So, celebrating it tells you and me that we need to continue in love till the end of time.
So love shouldn't be shared just once a year but should be shared every time and every day for the rest of our lives. I guess we understand this better now.

I appreciate your perspective. It is indeed true that we all need reminders to keep things going. Especially when it comes to showing love and appreciating the ones who have been near us through goodtime and bad times. love is the greatest thing in the world because it's what brings us together as a society. It helps us to connect with one another, to build strong relationships, and to create a sense of community. Love helps us to care for one another, to support each other, and to work together for the greater good. It makes us kinder and more generous, and it makes us want to do good things for the people around us. Love creates a sense of belonging and connection that is so important in today's world. Without love, we would be isolated and alone. Love truly is what brings people together and it is the greatest of it all.
