Hello everyone!

Hope all of you are doing well, I am also great.

I am here today because of all of you, if I keep getting your love like this at this stage of my life then I will feel my life is complete. Although every topic is special to write about as, it is said that all things with names are nouns but among those names some names are special which change our life whether it is in good or bad direction.

One of those names is "Mustard" probably everyone would be familiar with this name and I am happy that I chose this topic because unless our mind is happy while doing some work, that work is not good. So today we will talk about the speciality of mustard or what is its use; it is that spice which I have given a special name from the beginning “Chhota Packet Bada Dhamaka” (means a tiny that has a affect like a big rock) 😎

You would be thinking that it is strange, who names mustard like this; yes I named it this because once it was in the year 1986, I prepared "Sambhar", a South Indian dish in India , I put brinjal, carrot, potato, tamarind, potato, tomato and everything in it, but there was no mustard at home, and in place of mustard, I added cumin and fenugreek.

Still the taste of sambhar was absolutely bad. There were 20-25 people in the house who were going to eat it because at that time we were staying at my mother's place, so dosa sambhar was made for everyone. Nobody liked the taste of sambhar. That day I gave this name to mustard😄.

The grain of mustard is smaller than an ant and has such a taste that all the dishes prepared without it become tasteless. Then I decided that its taste would be different and I did so. There was some taste in mustard.

Gradually as I grew up I came to know that there are two-three types of mustard - black mustard, a little bigger yellow mustard and the small grain is of maroon colour which is also known as rye. Honestly, now I think that I have kept this name right because it is used in such things which have their own importance like -

a) Rai wali Mirchi (green chilli), I usually make this chilli to add some spicy add on pickle type along with lunch and dinner.

Mustard sour water, Dhokla, Khandvi, readymade mango pickle etc. There are many such items which we cannot make without mustard. We have a festival here in india called Holi, in which crushed Mustard (Rai), salt and 50-60 liters water is mixed and then it is served to all peoples then it is also told to everyone that it is your special festival drink that is only available in your house(hahahaha) 😄.

What to say about mustard, black mustard is very important for warding off the evil eye, yellow mustard is very important for making the wind flow and yes the most important thing is that when a child is born, then by putting a mustard pillow under his head, neither he gets affected by the evil eye nor the shape of his head gets spoiled, along with this, the brain of the children who use mustard pillow is also sharp and the child does not get scared even in the dreams.

Finally, the most important thing is mustard oil.

Yes, mustard oil is the biggest protector of our health and is an immortal element for our hair, so we must use mustard oil in our food and yes one more thing which I remember is that in old times whenever someone of ours got hurt, our grandfather or grandmother or our maternal grandmother used to quickly apply mustard oil on that place, due to which the injury used to heal completely in a day or two, so this is also a very successful thing that if we apply mustard oil on the injury, it also gives us relief. Therefore, we should keep using mustard oil from time to time.

At last I would like to invite @senehasa and @mehwish-almas to this contest.
