Thank you for taking part in this week’s contest of “Choices.”
What an interesting post you have shared.
It reminded me so much of a parade or march we had many years ago. More than 20,000 women marched against the rights of women and especially against the new Apartheid pass laws for black women. This happened way back in 1956, and each year we are reminded of it on Woman’s Day.

We did it in March 2022, and the day is now historic for all Sri Lankans. I recall millions of people assembling in the street with the chant 'Gota go Home'. And, under pressure from millions of people, he ran away and Hon. Ranil Wickramasinghe took over the country. We are now in safe to some extent.
